Found by accident, and was the best decision. Super cute, great location near everything and after 20 years we rode the trolley! Comfy bed, HOT shower, great breakfast, access to drinks all the time and a fire place!!! We'll be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cosy hotel. It was clean, extremely comfortable & the lovely touches like a good breakfast, unlimited water, fruit & cookies were very much appreciated. It was centrally located and close to good restaurants & bars. Would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in San Francisco.

I had a very generous and comfortable room, charmingly furnished with armchairs in front of the fire to relax at the end of the day. The hotel is intimate and it was nice to feel like you were coming home each day after working or sightseeing. As a solo traveller I found the happy hour a nice way to interact...

Loved this hotel - our room was quite small but had everything needed in it. The breakfasts were nice, with sausages, eggs (in some way), pastries and fruit and yoghurt. Tea and coffee were free at any time and so was bottles of water and cans of pop. The hotel also made cookies every day and have a get together...

We had a queen room with fire place. Large room with windows to the side and no noise at all, plus wardrobe, chest of draws and two chairs. The ensuite included a bath tub with shower in a good sized ensuite. Excellent breakfast of fresh juices, fruit, eggs, sausages and toast. My gluten-free requirements were met without any ptroblems at...

Petite Auberge is in a good location, walking distance to Chinatown,Union Square and other areas but not swarming with tourists 24x7. Room was clean and bathroom was delightfully retro. Fireplace in the room is a nice touch, especially on gray foggy day. Areas for improvement are relatively easy to correct. Install high quality windows that will minimize the street noise...

Loved the old world accommodation. We were given an upgrade and our room was large and comfortable. Heading down to the parlour to have happy hour was such a treat for us. Being able to make a cup of tea anytime was so appreciated. Chatting with fellow holiday makers from Germany, Norway and USA was very enjoyable. We are so...

This is a lovely quaint hotel in a great location. Staff where extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was a little small but adequate and very cosy. Bathroom very modern and immaculate. We took a while to work out that the fireplace switch is on the wall just inside the door. Breakfast was very nice. Hot food that included delicious...

A real gem in the middle of the city if you enjoy old world charm and great service without feeling luxurious or stuffy. It has the feel of a bed and breakfast but with the convenience of a traditional small hotel.
