Beautiful restored Victorian with wonderful staff. Classical music always plays in the dining area. Complimentary New York Times and among the best buffet breakfasts I have ever had! Options for meat eaters, vegetarians, gluten-free, high-carb, low-carb, you name it. Books on the area, board games, sherry, and hot beverages available all day & night. Less than a 10 minute walk...

The Inn is a very cozy and charming B&B. Very nice and helpful staff. Extra plus was the complimentary tea, coffee, sherry and port in the evening in the livingroom. Beautiful rooms and a garden to have breakfast in in the morning. We loved it.

Although highly rated, we found this property to not reflect those positive reviews. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, bed was too high and the stool they supplied to get into bed was not stable causing my wife to fall and bruise her leg, ants in the bathroom sink and walls, even after we complained. The good was the...

Dear Stephen, So sorry to hear that you were disappointed. Unfortunately the Victorian beds are generally higher than modern beds and I apologize for your wife's fall and injury. As for the ant problem, we have had unusually high levels of rain and the ants are seeking higher ground . . . we did our best to control them. But...

This bed and breakfast blends well into the residential neighbourhood and the location worked great for us. The entire staff treated us well and were friendly and accommodating, including the owner. The breakfast was quite nice and had a good selection. It is an old Victorian house, no things are not new, but that is part of the charm.

I'm so disappointed I only got to stay one night as this place is amazing. The front room is lovely to relax in with a book and the rooms are quite large. For a historic house, it's also extremely quiet and I didn't hear another person or staff unless I was talking to them in the public areas. The hot...

Old Victorian home, appointed with antiques down to the last detail. Interesting neighborhood, with loads of eateries to walk to. Close to a bus route that was easy to manage. Very quiet. Bed was really comfortable, and we slept like rocks for five nights. Staff was very helpful and had suggestions. The breakfast buffet had lots of choices. Beautiful gardens,...

Staying in Mission District

Neighbourhood Profile
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighbourhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighbourhoods in the country.
