Our stay at the Inn San Francisco was awesome. A beautiful Victorian home. The staff was very helpful. They felt just like friends. The breakfast every morning was very yummy. We had a variety of fruit, quiche, and pastries. Would highly recommend a stay here

INNKEEPER’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 19 February 2016

The Inn San Francisco has comfortable beds, antiques-filled rooms (both public and private), and an excellent location for bus or BART and for dining on Valencia. Breakfast is plentiful, with quiche, all sorts of delicious baked goods, and an abundance of fresh fruit that is all too rare at most b & b's. Breakfast is buffet style and you can... More

Stayed at the hotel recently as well as several times in the past. The Victorian building is very stylish, beautifully decorated and well maintained. The staff are very cordial and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and facilities all work well. The beds are particularly comfortable and we have always slept very well. Communications during the reservation process and just prior to... More

My wife and I stayed just one night, however, it was a magical experience. The Inn transports you back to the 1800's with immaculate attention to every detail. Fine China, crystal decanters, silverware are just a few things that made our experience special. The back yard garden was so tranquil and serine. The hot tub is a must while sipping... More

The only place we would ever stay in San Francisco! Every trip here never ceases to amaze me and calm my soul! From the warm welcome from the professional and friendly staff. To the most beautiful and comfortable rooms in any B&B we have stayed in. The staff even called to make sure we had eaten from the delicious breakfast... More

Had a great stay at the Inn San Francisco. It is a beautiful place. The rooms are large and well decorated. The mattress is comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast includes a large spread of fresh fruit, pastries, quiche and can be eaten in the rear garden or rooftop garden with a great view if SF.... More

The people here are so kind and helpful. Made you feel like family. Comfortable living room area. Great continental breakfast too. The only problem was the bed was not comfortable...they need to invest in comfort mattresses. Plus, ask for a room off the main street as the noise is very loud and sirens run all night.

Unhappy to hear you found our bed uncomfortable. Perhaps the feather bed was "tired" in your room. We will check it out. Wonderful to hear though that the staff were kind and wonderful. Marty More

Can only agree with what others have said, but I would add that the service was excellent, having met the owner Marty, who stayed a bit longer to help me both find the place (went to Van Ness rather than South Van Ness) and keep a parking place and showed me around. The room was vintage and comfortable and everything... More

Our 5 night stay ended earlier this week. The Inn San Francisco is the BEST B and B we have stayed in in any city we have visited. Last year's stay with Inn San Francisco was great. On my return this year, it got better. I was a guest for 10 days. It was tough getting a room in SF due to to the 'Sales Force' conference and Annual Fleet Week. So even if I had a few rooms during this stay, I didn't mind getting moved. In... More

Staying in Mission District

Neighbourhood Profile
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighbourhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighbourhoods in the country.
