My second visit to this unique hotel by the bay. The place has charming personality and the staff is very informative and helpful. Had a photo shoot planned for Alcatraz Island, and wanted to capture some photos at the Queen Anne also. Stayed in room 410, which is suppose to be haunted. Didn't get much time to investigate, but that...

We had an amazing stay! The staff is so helpful and friendly, the rooms are comfortable, the decor is stunning...I could go on and on. Breakfast and afternoon cookies are a nice touch. The hotel is very close to all of the main bus lines, so it is incredibly easy to get around town without a car -- which is...

What a lovely, charming hotel. Massive queen room with excellent facilities. If your looking for contemporary then this is not the place for you. We found it romantic and and cosy, exactly what we like. Continental breakfast, but more than adequate. Waffles, bagels, sausage patties and much more to choose from. Plenty to see us through the busy sightseeing day. Don't be...

The Queen Anne is very beautiful with an abundance of antiques in all of the hallways, perhaps a little overboard with it. We booked four days in the Mary Lake suite, Rm 410 while staying in SF and doing the usual tourist stuff: Golden Gate Bridge, Union Square, The Winchester Mansion, Fisherman's Wharf, Alcatraz, etc. It is pretty much centrally...

Completely adorable. Whether you are looking for Victorian ambiance or just someplace fun and kitschy, this is the place for you. The only reason I'm giving it just 4 stars is because I did not have the opportunity to experience the extra amenities (Sherry, breakfast, piano, etc...I was rather busy). But if they are the same standard as the the...

Dear Dear Real_Grenadine... Just delighted to hear you enjoyed yourself, our staff and charming hotel. However... a little perplexed that you docked us a star because you did not have time to experience all of the Queen Anne's extra services??? My goodness! :-) It's getting harder and harder to get an A+ these days. Alright... well we all certainly hope...

I chose this hotel for my husband and me to stay 2 nights because it is within walking distance of our son's house and we were visiting him. We found it to be a great location away from the busy touristy areas. We walked through Japantown and along some streets with trendy shops to get to his house. When we...

Thank you h0lym0ly, Sitting by one the lit fireplaces in the evening and sharing a bottle of wine is a very unique experience at the historic Queen Anne. We serve Afternoon Tea & Sherry with freshly baked cookies here in our Parlor each day from 4pm to 6pm. We look forward to welcoming you back!

We stayed here because it was close to our daughter. It was fine for a couple of night's stays. There is afternoon wine and cookies and a breakfast room. This hotel is on the older side and moderately priced. Nothing to rave about.

The hotel is in a Victorian style from top to bottom, it really is a very regal type hotel, all the photos I took simply didn't do it justice . Sutter street is actually a pretty quiet part of San Fransisco so easy to get in and out of. The breakfast is pretty good but finishes at 9 which might...

This hotel is conveniently situated on a main road within walking distance of both the Grand Place and the North Train Station. Staff was kind and helpful both with tourist information and planning day trips! Room was clean and comfortable.

Went here with my mother and sister who really loved the furniture and entire décor in general. Hotel is a little on the older side, but has a great haunted feel to it which was perfect for Halloween. Really great neighborhood, walking distance to many shops and restaurants. And only a short ride to fisherman's wharf.
