I have now stayed here twice while working in SF and really enjoy this hotel. It has a nice old feel but is clean and modern. The staff is always very helpful and super nice. I found my room to be spacious and the bed to be VERY comfortable, something that often disappoints me when traveling. The bathrooms are relatively...

Well located, few minutes away from union square and market street, hotel itself is too pretentious, while the content fall short of chic and poshness intended. Rooms are claimed to be non-smoking, though they reek of cigar smell, ingrained in the furnishing. Noise level from the streets is high, Especially when you open the window, which you have to do...

We stayed at the Kensington Park Hotel on Post Street near Union Square in San Francisco Nov. 2-4, 2012. The room was small and it was either very warm or very chilly. The beds were not comfortable, I felt as if I was sleeping on the thinest mattress they could find. It was so noisy, we didn't sleep very well....

I feel like I looked at EVERY hotel around Union Square before we finally booked. I wanted a good location, a nice room that had some character but was really nice & clean, and thankfully I picked the perfect spot! Honestly the room (royal king room, 12th floor) was exactly what the website showed & really nice. It was located...

What a terrific location...right on Union Square and the cable car line on Powell. The beds are comfy and the city view from our 11th floor room was impressive. We had asked for a corner room so that we could have a view from two different perspectives. The reception staff was very helpful with a wonderful place for breakfast, maps...

We stayed at the Kensington Park Hotel At Union Square for 3 nights in mid October. The hotel is in a great location, which is why we selected it and based on other reviews. The hotel, overall, has "character", which we enjoyed, but could benefit from some upgrading. The room we had was small, the bath was small as well....

Great hotel! We travelled to San Francisco on honeymoon, and after searching hundreds of hotels ended up deciding to stay at the Kensington Park. We were greeted by Joseph on the front desk who was very warm, approachable and welcoming. Ruben on concierge was great. Knowledgable, and willing to help with dinner arrangements and so forth. Room was clean and...

Overwhelmed by choices we selected the Kensington Park. We were so pleased with our choice. Best location ever, right off Union Square. We upgraded to a corner room which is advised if you want some additional space. Room was spotless, beds were very comfortable and rooms are comtemporary with an old fashioned flair. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and very...
