Stayed at the Andrews for 5 nights. It is an old charming small hotel located in an excellent location, walking distance to everything. Every morning they had a very nice complimentary breakfast right outside our room. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful regarding getting around San Franscisco. It also has a lovely little restaurant in the hotel with...

We stayed at the Andrews Hotel for 2 nights. The location to Unity Square was perfect for us, just a 5-10min walk away. There are lots of nice restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself has lots of character and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and a good size. Breakfast is continental and is served on...

When I arrived to check to the Andrews at the end of a 5 week tour I found I had made a mistake in my booking, and they were expecting me 4 weeks earlier... So the pretty corner suite I had booked was not available, and they had to give me the last available room... it was very tiny, had...

We enjoyed our stay here very much. We arrived pretty late after a delayed flight. After a quick check in, we were in our room. The room is pretty small- though standard for big cities. The bed is comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was available in the hallway at 7am and there were delicious croissants and muffins. The Italian...

The only positive thing that one can say about this hotel is that the staff is nice and the location is close to Union Square. But it is also noisy, the rooms are small, no a/c, old building with a single elevator , wifi is so,etimes ok, sometimes has issues etc. 2 reasons why I am giving 1 star only:...

Let me start this review with a disclaimer. My wife loved the place and I thought it was one of the worst hotels I have ever been in. She loved the romance of being in a very old hotel with an old tiny elevator and old creaky floors. For me it was the opposite.... 1. The hotel is located on...

I enjoyed my stay here very much. I am in a lower tiered hotel in SF about 3 times a year and I would stay here every time now that I have found it, if I can get the same deal I got this time (from Hotels.com). I booked about a month in advance and got such a good rate...

Maks you feel like some 30-40 years ago. Bit weary, but still good. Good location, historic elevator. Suite is perfect for two, dont know about the standart rooms. Breakfast very basic, just coffee, tea, pastries and some fruit.

It's not what we thought it would be. First thing, there is no AC so we were lucky it wasn't to warm out. Rooms were still warm and it was 50-60 F out. Rooms are small but clean. Car parking is 48$ day which seems about average for the area. We are on the 3rd floor, small stairway or old...

The Fino Ristorante is in the lobby of this hotel. Visited on business for dinner one night; laughed out loud to ourselves..."We simply must come visit on our own time and stay right here in this little hotel..." never going to happen. But the "never" came and the restaurant is only open in the evenings after 5pm so we had...
