Stayed here last summer while working in the area, the room was very clean and the town itself is incredibly friendly and quiet. The bed was surprisingly the nicest among the motels I stayed in previously, and the managers were extremely friendly and accommodating. I felt very safe here, will definitely be staying again.

On our way from Wyoming, we stopped at the Sage Motel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. There are places to visit nearby, but we were on our way back home and did not have time to look around. We will definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

We booked this as we drove east through Wyoming. (It's always cheaper to call and book than to book online.) Craig, the manager, was cordial and helpful. There are only two places to eat in town and neither serve breakfast. We were happy we had food we could eat as we headed out the next day. There was no fridge in our room and the ice freezer outside had a lock on it. I got ice for our small cooler at the restaurant next door - The Village Barn Lounge and Cafe. It has wonderful food - don't let the look of the place deceive you! We had a great meal! We were on a road trip and this was one of four motels we stayed in. It was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. It's well kept up even though it looks old on the outside. The bath towels were plush and nice, not standard white motel towels. Craig told us there is a fly problem because of horses out back but keeping the door closed helped. A motel in North Dakota provided fly swatters in rooms so that's an idea for the Sage. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat - it was really in the middle of nowhere but it was a beautiful nowhere on the way to lots of interesting places!
