We enjoyed our first trip to the restaurant so much that, uncharacteristically for us, we doubled-up and returned the next night. Gracious and knowledgeable staff, great food, cozy ambiance, and good drinks.

The owners were lovely and made us feel at home. The chef is a genius. We ate there every night after discovering this gem. The oysters and scallops we're perfect. My boyfriend had the steak and loved it!
We went here for happy hour. Had some great beers and fantastic oysters! Great people who work here and a beautiful bar with a friendly, easygoing crowd. We went two nights in a row. Can't wait to see them next year!!
My wife and I have never stayed at a bed and breakfast and we chose the Friar based on TripAdvisor reviews and the price point. We were not disappointed. They are under new management so go with recent reviews. The house and rooms are beautiful....More
