We stayed in the Cadillac Mountain Suite with our two year old daughter. It was perfect because we could put her in the other room for bedtime. There are skylights so if your child is sensitive to light with sleeping, this might be an issue. Ours had a little trouble the first day, but no problems after that. They provided...

We have now stayed here 5 times since Peter took over the Acadia. He has the good fortune of a great location but he also provides an excellent value. The rooms are always spotless, the service is always flawless and the room is always in good condition. With every visit improvements are added. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We stayed here for 2 nights last week and we had a great time here. The check-in was extremely smooth and the room was very nicely-decorated and clean. The hotel is right in the middle of downtown (in front of the green village) and all the shops and restaurants are right outside of the hotel. Great location for those who...

We have friends who live in town, and while we were there for NYE a few months ago, we saw this hotel (my friend works right next door at the Abbe Museum) -- and it looked super cute & the location couldn't be better! This trip (only 2 nights) we decided to give it a try. Upon check-in, we were...

Stayed in the Dorr Mountain Suite w/ two king beds. Mattresses were new and very comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job tidying up the rooms everyday as we went out to explore the area. Can't beat the location. Close to all Bar Harbor dining, shopping and attractions. Never had to use the car unless we headed to Acadia NP or...

This is such a warm, friendly place, well decorated and perfectly situated in downtown Bar Harbor. Open and inclusive. Great staff, coffee and pastries in the morning and umbrellas if it rains. I have stayed here every year for the last ten years and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Incredible experience here with my boyfriend on our May getaway. Found this room on Air b&b for an incredible price and was pleasantly surprised that the room was even better than the pictures. The staff was so friendly and genuinely wanted to help. They gave us great advice on hikes and restaurants. And let's not forget the free bikes and...

We recently stayed 4 nights and couldn't have been happier with our accommodation choice in Bar Harbor. Not only was the hotel close to everything, it was clean, updated, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Welcome surprises of morning pastries, coffee/tea service, plus cool drinks on the porch. There's also access to bikes and a hot tub. Really...

Hello Andrea, Thank you so much for such a positive review. We are glad you enjoyed the pastries and coffee/tea in the morning. We try to make waking up as cheerful as we can! The hot tub is one of our favorite amenities and just opened up for the season. Hopefully the weather was warm enough for you to enjoy...

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the hotel. Our first time up to Acadia, this was a birthday trip and the hotel really went out of their way to make it special. We stayed in the Dorr Mt. Suite, which is a great setup with 2 comfortable bedrooms (the mattresses were incredibly comfortable), dining table and living area. Perfect...

We recently stayed two nights here. It is a small hotel in a historic house just across from the village green and within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. Our room was very comfortable though the bathroom was a bit cramped. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It was a nice change from large chain hotels.
