From the moment I booked my room, I was confident I had picked the right place in Bar Harbor. My expectations were exceeded and I highly recommend travelers to stay at Acadia Hotel. Elizabeth with her warm smile greeted me in the lobby when I arrived. Elizabeth informed us of the 5 AM coffee and tea service and pastry service...

My husband and I booked this 4 night vaca for our 5 year anniversary. From the moment we stepped foot into the Acadia Hotel we felt welcome. Peter and Sharyn gave us so many helpful tips and were very accommodating. All the little extras really made a difference: lemonade and water at the front door, cozy fire pit and torches...

My husband and I visited Bar Harbor for the first time this Sept. and we are not typically B&B people. Our experience at Acadia was above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. The Acadia is located centrally so you can walk everywhere in town. The hotel has been recently updated and our room and bathroom were immaculate. We...

We absolutely LOVED our cozy hotel room with its own private entrance. The location cannot be beat. We also really appreciated the refreshing lemonade on the porch for guests. Special thanks to Sharyn and Peter for making us feel welcome. Sharyn made our first day in Bar Harbor perfect with her suggestions that she gave us. We will definitely be...

We found the Acadia Hotel to be a very nice small hotel in a great location. The owners were super friendly and accommodating including helping me complete a business transaction despite having had lightning knock out their Internet and blowing up their printers the day before we arrived. We especially enjoyed the sitting area just outside our room, which was...

This hotel converted from an older home was very nice. Our two bedroom suite was nice and adequate for two couples to share. The suite was spotless. At least another 1/2 bath would've been great but wasn't a deal breaker. Having a coffeemaker in the room would've been nice with maybe ceiling fans in the bedrooms as only the common...

Located across from the village green, this place is the bomb! We sat on the wrap-around porch in lovely wicker furniture, sipped icy cold lemonade free for the taking, and reveled in our supreme comfort on a hot summer's day! This is what vacation is all about! Other places have lots of noise and chatter and people milling about. The...

Hello, Thank you for your wonderful review. Acadia Hotel definitely has a certain "homey" feel to it that our guests seem to always enjoy. We love seeing guests sit out on our porch enjoying the shade from the sunshine or the cozy fires in the evening. While you enjoyed the fresh lemonade, we also have many guests who enjoy taking...

This is my first time in Maine. Based on reviews we booked a 3 night stay and are very happy with this hotel. It has more of a B&B feel. The location is perfect. Except for going to Acadia national park we didn't need our car. It is located literally next to wonderful restaurants, shops and a beautiful park. It...
