Attractive exterior with extensive outdoor space. Friendly staff, clean, comfortable and spacious room and prompt response to replace inoperative hair dryer. We appreciated the short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Priced right, we would return.

Amazing bang for the buck in that area. Would recommend for anyone on tight budget. Much better then other places I stayed in that area. Not too far from the village and quiet place. Rooms was spacious too.

This was a remarkable motel. You can see the owners and staff have pride of ownership. My room looked as if it was brand new, the pool was clean and looked it was just built. Did not see the staff much, you had to ring a bell to get them at the front desk, but you have to realize it...

This motel is close to Bar Harbor, and is walking distance to a good restaurant for breakfast. Other restaurants in walking distance too, but we didn't try those. Only stayed one night. The owner checked us in and was friendly and efficient. We stayed towards the back and didn't have any trouble with traffic noise like others have posted. Couple of...

My husband and I did a 12 day road trip from Boston to New Hampshire, Vermont and Bar Harbor Maine. I made reservations for 3 nights at the High Seas. This place is so quaint and pleasant, from the staff to the accommodations. Having read previous reviews about possible road noise, I asked for a room in the back away...

We just stayed 4 nights at the High Seas Motel and couldn't be happier, when we were planning our trip we knew that one of the major chains was out primarily because of price and we would rather support independent establishments so we were trying to decide between one of the cottage properties or a motel. I did read one...

We stayed for three nights while visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor. The room was small but we enjoyed our stay, nonetheless. The bathroom was tiny but served it's purpose. The sink was outside the bathroom. The bed was fairly comfortable. The AC worked well. The flat screen TV was adequate. There were 2 comfortable chairs as well as a small...

If you're looking for a convenient, very clean, basic motel...this is it! I don't like spending a lot of money on a place where I sleep and am out and about all day enjoying the sights. This was perfect for me. I recommend it. No coffee in room. Must go to a room in hotel and coffee was mediocre. NO...

Stayed one night, nice little place. Very clean. Large room. Bed was average. Be aware that there is no iron or coffee pot in the room, you have to ask for the iron at the front desk. They have coffee/tea available at certain hours. No complementary shampoo/conditioner, so be sure to either bring your own or pick some up.

This place is awesome! Its room is huge and clean. Its staff is friendly and responsive. It even provides a swing and a slide for young children to play. I highly recommend this place to anyone going to Acadia.
