Dear Honadlescandy, Thanks so much for taking the time to pen your review! Anna and I enjoyed sharing Coach Stop and Mt Desert Island with you and hope to see you again sometime. Anna has decided that the whoopee-pies are now a regular item on the afternoon treat setup thanks to your feedback (and our own taste testing!) Thanks again...

Had a wonderful couple of nights staying at the Coach Stop Inn, in the Heritage suite. The room was nicely decorated with a queen size bed, two side tables, a dresser, couch and a TV stand with a mini fridge underneath. The private 3/4 bathroom was a a good sized space, with plenty of room to move around and included...

Dear NHladyD, Thanks a bunch for your TA review. Anna and I really enjoyed your stay with us and appreciate the feedback - especially on the "extra touches" that we hope provide some "Ah!...that's nice" moments at Coach Stop. We hope you'll visit again and I hope that I mentioned our repeat guests' and referrals discount. (If not, shoot me...

Our party of 7 arrived at the Coach Stop on a cold and rainy June 1st for a short visit to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Innkeepers Jim and Anna couldn't have been more welcoming - lending umbrellas, ushering my stepfather to sit by the fireplace to warm up, offering cookies and cups of tea. We had 3 bedrooms...

When I learned that my long time colleague, Jim Brown, was retiring from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and, with his wife, Anna, moving to Bar Harbor to be the new owners/hosts of The Coach Stop Inn I knew it would be pure delight to visit there on my recent jaunt to Maine. And it was! The Inn is a...

I had a wonderful time at the Coach Stop Inn. First, the property is beautiful. The bedroom and bathroom were nicely renovated and extremely clean. Also, the owners made an effort to give us a different breakfast every morning, all of which were exceptional. I also liked the fact that the Inn is close to the entrance of Acadia National...

I knew it was going to be a very good B&B, but Jim and Anna's hospitality exceeded all expectations. We did a bit of research, though not enough to know that Coach Stop is actually located a few minutes outside Bar Harbor Village. That turned out to be a nice treat for us, as it's close enough to town that...

Jim and Anna are the new owners. They go out of the way to make you feel at home. The breakfasts are incredible. I liked our room (Heritage Suite) on the first floor. It was more private and had a nice sitting room. Anna put out a treat every day. The B and B is about 3 miles outside of...
