We had a lovely stay with Jim and Anna at Coach Stop over New Years. I really enjoy visiting Mount Desert Island during the winter - it's far less crowded and affords opportunities to see wildlife that is tougher in the summer. The Acadia Suite had a huge tub, comfortable bed, and nice little working area (if you absolutely must...

This establishment is why we like to stay at B & Bs. Our hosts were gracious and very knowledgeable. Our room was lovely and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent. The location is very convenient to the national park and all that Bar Harbor has to offer. You will not be disappointed if you stay at the Coach Stop Inn.

Our stay at this Inn was fantastic! The room was delightful as we stayed in the Blue Hill Bay room. Jim and Anna are great Inn keepers and make you feel very comfortable. The breakfasts were phenomenal! They even surprised us complimentary bottles of champagne for our anniversary celebration. So happy we made the choice to stay here. It was...

This bed and breakfast is well run and very responsive to requests from quests. we really like having real candles on the tables in the dining room. However, in B & Bs, we like having family style dining so that we can meet other guests from other parts of the country. We would certainly recommend Coach Stop to others and...

This is a lovely small Band B out of the tourist fray of Bar Harbour. The innkeepers are delightful and the breakfast and cookies quite good. They are also very knowledgable of the area and very willing to share all they know.

The GPS said, "Your destination is on your left." We turned and there it was - our home for the next five days. At first I was a bit disappointed it wasn't in the town of Bar Harbor until we saw the traffic, the numerous tourists and chaos of the town. We were on vacation to relax and the Coach...

The best thing about Coach Stop Inn is that it is so very memorable, as are the owners Jim and Anna. The actual Inn is very old, but the interior has been re-done to perfection, the rooms are well-appointed and cozy, and Jim and Anne are absolutely delightful with a bit of Southern accent thrown in for interest. Breakfast was...

We had a great winter weekend at the Coach stop in. We started off with a friendly, informative greeting from Jim, dropped off our stuff and headed to Acadia. The Inn is at a very convenient spot for visiting the park. The room was clean, cozy, and rather large (especially considering that we spent little time indoors). There were fresh...
