Great location (and parking) - large room and beautifully appointed. Gourmet breakfast. Could be a plus/minus depending on viewpoint: no TV in room we had. Hosts very gracious and accommodating and fabulous old school front porch to watch the world go by. Highly recommend the Blueberry room - first floor and right on the porch with parking right in front.

First visit to Holbrook House will not be our last! We spent 2 nights in Compass Rose, which was recently renovated. Comfortable, large, clean room with private balcony. Great breakfasts, plenty of parking and an easy walk to downtown Bar Harbor shops, restaurants and Acadia shuttle. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Following a warm greeting, Eric and Michelle provided us with a wonderful stay at Holbrook House. This is a larger B&B yet Eric was very attentive to each guest especially at breakfast which he made seem effortless. Michelle is a gifted cook and each day she used unique ingredients to create both flavorful and well presented dishes (strawberry stuffed french...

We stayed two nights and loved every aspect. Michelle and Eric were both wonderful. The breakfast was amazing. We stayed in the Compass Rose suite and it was very clean with a great bathroom. Walking distance to all Bar Harbor activities and just a short drive to a couple park entrances. Would highly recommend staying here. We're already talking about...

Older home, Very clean, super antiques, cozy bed. Breakfast was delicious. Both Eric and Michelle are super hosts and make you feel part of their family. You should check it out - you shouldn't be disappointed staying here.

We stayed 8/14 through 8/16 to celebrate an anniversary. Super clean, interesting older home filled with antiques. Delicious breakfast each day, as well as afternoon tea, with fresh, home baked desserts. The proprietors were charming, friendly, provided great information about area attractions, and genuinely cared about our comfort during our stay. Loved sitting on the porch in the evening! Very...

This was our second stay at the Holbrook House. I must say it was like coming home again. The breakfast are delicious. Eric and Michelle are very attentive to details and accommodated the special dietary needs for our family. Our room was comfortable and even though our bathroom was across the hall, it worked out beautifully. The inn is warm...

Our first trip to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Ended up at an excellent B&B. Great service, awesome breakfast and afternoon tea and high end super comfy mattress so we slept great! Easy walk to downtown, harbor and all of the shops and restaurants. Quick drive to the Park Loop in Acadia. Off street parking and relaxing common area.

My wife and I recently spent a few days in Bar Harbor Maine, a place we had never been before. We selected Holbrook House as the place to stay during our trip. We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations and service. This bed and breakfast is a very nicely equipped home with lots of antiques and character....
