Eric and Michelle are two of the most excellent hosts. Their warm hospitality has us coming back year after year after year. Michelle's breakfast are an art form and so delicious!!! We stay in the Lafayette Suite, which has it's own entrance. It's newly remodeled and so pretty and has such comfortable furnishings. There is even a door out to...

We very much enjoyed the Holbrook House for our 2 night stay in Bar Harbor. I agree with all the reviews, the owners are very friendly and their additional helpfulness with where to go in Acadia was great. The bed was super comfortable, I have to have a King bed, and the sheets were perfect. The room was updated compared...

My wife and I stayed at Holbrook House last week while visiting Acadia National Park. The Buttercup Room was nice. The breakfast each morning was AMAZING! I'm not usually a breakfast person and I looked forward to breakfast every day after the very tasty egg roulade on our first morning.

14 years ago we enjoyed a cozy, comfortable stay at this wonderful inn which is on the main road into town. If the street parking in front is full, there is parking in the back. The new owners have kept up the standard with clean rooms, pleasant public spaces and great breakfasts. Great downtime in busy Bar Harbor.

Other reviews tell you how great this place is to stay, and they're true. I would like to highlight the kindness of the innkeepers, Eric and Michele. Our final day, we left for the airport at 4:30am. Eric packed a breakfast for us, with Michele's amazing blueberry muffins and some yogurt and granola. When we got home, I realized that...

Wonderful accommodations, outstanding fresh made breakfasts, warm and friendly innkeepers, just perfect! Rooms are clean, well decorated, and the bed was comfortable and the sheets were soft. Every breakfast was uniquely different, but my favorite was the strawberry and cream stuffed French toast. In the afternoon, homemade cookies and sweet cakes are set out in the sun room/dining room. It's...

Very nice property, we stayed in the Lupine 2 room cabin behind the house and it was very nice, quiet with it's own patio area. The breakfasts were wonderful and the owner was funny and helpful. The rocking chairs out front were a wonderful place to enjoy a book and they also had a large sitting room in the main...

The Holbrook House is a really beautiful B&B, well located in Bar Harbor: just a couple of minutes walk to the restaurants and shops, and close to the entrance of Acadia NP. Eric was very helpful in providing information about town's restaurants. Our room (chantilly room) was wonderful (nothing compared to the pictures online), big bathroom, comfortable bed and very...

The Holbrook House was the PERFECT Bed and Breakfast. We had 3 people so were able to take the 3rd floor suite. It was cute, quiet and cool. the breakfasts were FABULOUS! Every day seemed to outshine the last. The owners were very helpful and delightful. If you stay here, you won't be disappointed!

It took a lot of research to find the room that would accommodate me and my sister and my daughter for four nights in a nice charming place at a reasonable cost in one room. Bar Harbor seems to be designed for couples in BandBs or families by the week in cottages or motels. Inns and BandBs rarely offer an...
