There's nothing wrong with the Atlantic Eyrie Lodge. It's a good, basic motel with a great view. Quiet, clean, comfortable. I think I was a little disappointed because the facility and rooms are so plain. It's 10 minutes from town by bus (you must take the bus because parking is limited in the town) and the bus is very reliable....

While we only stayed one night here, the experience was perfect. The location is great, it has a decent breakfast, and the view from your balcony is just amazing. I woke myself up at 5am, went down to the lobby and got a fresh cup of coffee and spend the morning watching the sun rise over the landscape. It really...

We had two rooms, a one bedroom suite and a two queen room (we were 5). Both were very nice. We chose the suite for the kitchen which was very well equipped. The two queen room is quote large. The suite was located right next to the elevator which made is not as long as all other rooms. It was...

This hotel is a great place to stay with a family in Bar Harbor. It is located up a hill overlooking Frenchman's Bay, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The free bus service picks you up right at the lobby and takes you anywhere you want to go within Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. It was quiet,...

Good morning, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We are happy to hear you had a comfortable, enjoyable stay with us. The shuttle is such a great thing for traveling the island. My brother in law is one of the drivers and he loves interacting with the vacationers. He's been driving for many years and actually...

We usually go to Maine each summer but had never been to Bar Harbor or Acadia. We generally travel with our dog and finding a dog friendly hotel can be a challenge. We were very pleased with the Atlantic Eyrie Lodge. They have a limited number of dog friendly rooms and we were lucky enough to score one. The room...

Hello, How nice to hear you visited our island for the first time and enjoyed it as well as liked our pet friendly rooms. Most of us here are pet owners so it's important that the rooms are clean and easy for walking around the property. As you were heading down or up Cadillac did you notice the beautiful body...

4 night stay with 6 people and we were continuously impressed with this hotel. The staff was friendly and the pet friendly atmosphere made for a wonderful time. Our view was over the water and you could see the amazing salt water pool just below it. The rooms were outdated, but very clean. There was continental breakfast, but no gym....

Hello and hope you are having an easy winter! Thank you so much for the positive review. We are happy to hear that you had a great vacation. Sorry for the lack of a workout facility, hopefully, someday we can make that a reality. We have been renovating and adding to the property each winter to imorove the Eyrie. Thanks...

There are a lot of hotel choices in Bar Harbor these days. However, staying in the summertime, during peak season gets expensive. I tend to stay in Hampton Inns, Holiday Inn Express, etc. There is a Hampton Inn in Bar Harbor but it was way above my budget. So after reading many reviews of places to stay I am happy...

This is the second time we stayed there, and it's worth reviewing again. It's not fancy, but clean, spacious rooms with a great view. Some rooms are pet-friendly, but they have tile floors, so even if a pet has had an accident, you know the room is clean. Breakfast is included, and better than average. A bus runs like clockwork...

We loved this hotel. 2 adults and 2 teenagers stayed here in July. It was fantastic. My family loved the saltwater pool. The rooms were very spacious with a great balcony overlooking the ocean and pool. Really beautiful view. Very clean room with very comfortable beds and soft sheets, one of the best beds we have slept in on vacation...

Hello, Your review made me want to run to the breakfast room for a plate of French toast! Thank you for mentioning our salt water pool. We take pride in using salt to chlorinate our pool instead of loading it with chlorine. It makes for a much nicer swimming experience. Also, thank you for making note of our beds and...

I was so happy with my decision to stay at the Atlantic eyrie lodge. When you first pull into the lot you will be worried by the hill and the front facade (stairs without carpet/renovations etc) but don't let that deter you. The staff is wonderful, the views amazing and the pool is lovely! Beautiful sunrise and sunset views that...
