We stayed in a room with a queen and a twin - it was to be a girl's get away in Maine. The rooms were pleasant and had nice bathrooms but were not in the main residence. The real joy we had was to awaken every morning with anticipation of what breakfast might be on each of our 4 days... More

Wow! The location cannot be beat. Close enough to the main streets where restaurants, shops and attractions are but far enough to avoid the traffic. I'll start with the welcoming. Very friendly and the snacks. Oh! the bake goods by the owner. Yum!! The room was very, very clean. The bed was very comfortable. I have a hard time staying... More

We had a wonderful stay at Acacia House Inn. Ralph and Anna make a delightful breakfast with many choices, one better than the next, made with local ingredients and an eye for presentation that will make you smile. Each afternoon there was a wonderful baked good, tea or cider waiting in the sitting room after a long day of touring.... More

This is the kind of place I think of when I think of a BnB. Breakfast is included with lodging and it is GREAT! They serve you fresh fruit before the main meal you choose. they have a main menu with a daily special. My favorite was the apple-cheddar pancakes. And mid-afternoon they make pastries to set out, which is... More

Thank you for the excellent hospitality, warm and friendly helpful chatter, and for being a gracious host for our one-night getaway for the Sky Festival! The coffee is warm and rich, our rooms clean and welcoming, and most of all: the walkability to everything in town is a triple win to top off our stay. We can't wait to come... More

We stayed 2 nights at Acacia House Inn. It is very convenient to the town and restaurants. Park your car and walk to everything. Rooms were small but very pleasant. Breakfast is the highlight here. Nothing to say but . . Delicious! The owner is very friendly and provides assistance to any questions you have about Bar Harbor and the... More

This review has been a long time coming! Just haven't found the time, but I have it now! My boyfriend & I stayed at the Acacia House in June of 2015, on our annual trip to Acadia/Bar Harbor! Anna was an AMAZING host. My boyfriend has an extreme dairy allergy & she accommodated him with no issue. She made sure... More

Stayed for 2 nights and wished we had booked more. Quaint 3 story home right in downtown Bar Harbor. Walked to everything. Clean room, friendly owners and staff with unbelievable breakfasts. Enjoy anything from Oatmeal, or omelets to 3 different kinds of pancakes. Apple and cheddar were my favorite. Afternoon and evening pastries or cookies with coffee or tea a... More

I'm really glad I found this place! A comfortable, contemporary styled B&B that is reasonably priced. The food is a highlight. Tea, cookies and lemonade every afternoon. Made to order breakfast along with homemade granola and blueberry muffins in the morning. Everything was delicious. Acacia is close to everything. It is approximately a 3 block walk to the shops and... More

We loved staying here. It was close to the main part of Bar Harbor, but on a quiet, lovely street. Our room was comfortable (room 3) and had a little balcony that was a nice addition. The bathroom was huge and comfortable. I told the proprietors I have a gluten and dairy intolerance and every day they had gluten and... More
