Our first time to Hawaii from Australia, along with our 2 yr old daughter and 4 yr old son. We chose to spend our 10 night holiday at Aulani based on its trip advisor reviews and we couldn't be happier! The hotel is absolutely incredible...More

This is by far THE SAFEST PLACE to go for a tropical vacation with small kids! The place is sprawling with life guards and they offer a wide variety of swim vests for free.
What's not so safe is the slippery concrete. They have tried...More
Our family of four (2 adults, 2 kids (ages 5 & 6) stayed at Aulani February 23-March 1. Our trip was fantastic overall--just a few things we wish they would improve. We stayed in a standard hotel room with a standard view. Our room was...More
Aulani I was a fantastic family resort. It is well situated and an easy drive to the North Shore and to Honolulu. The only downside was that although the food quality was good, options were limited. Beautiful sunset every night.
Hi, when I called to make character breakfast reservations for my family, they told me my 2 year old did not need to pay. Hope this helps. I think they still need a seat though. It’s best you call to double check

There are many water activities at this resort. A lazy river, several swimming pools, a lagoon, and a "Fish Tank" for snorkeling. Aulani is VERY DIsney oriented, so expect a lot of small children and strollers. The resort itself is very well laid out, there is an adult pool and18 and over hot tubs for grown ups. Additionally Aulani hosts many fee based (and a few free) daily activities. The Pro's are: Very well planned resort, condo options so that you can eat/drink in the room, lovely area on Oahu, shopping center across the street, possible to find quiet places on the beach if you get out early enough. Con's: Disney everywhere, food/drink options expensive, fee's for activities very high ($40 for and hour of paddle boarding), a lot of little kids and babies (crying, running and cutting people off, etc.), very crowded. As for teens, you may want to check their website and see what teen activities are available. I think it would depend on the type of teen you have, some would love this experience and some might find it "lame".
