If you have been to Oahu and didn't feel like you had been to Hawaii, you need to come to the North shore and Sharks Cove Rentals is a nice place to feel the local vibe! The owner, John is the nicest, I've met so kind, gracious and helpful! The house was comfortable and met our needs so much better...

when in hawaii, we stayed at sharks cove rental. and it was awesome! just in front of the main entrance of sharks cove, it was between the most famous beaches - waymea, sunset and pipeline. also, it has a lot of foodtrucks around and its close to foodland, a great supermarket with an atm machine

John the owner is absolutely fantastic, offered to pick us up from Waikiki when we realised we couldn't get our cases on the local bus. He gave us a great tour of the area and took us to the local for some food and drink. The apartment was all we needed, clean and tidy, directly across from the beach, where...

For the price we pay, we were Very pleased with Sharks cove rental! They are just in front of the Sharks cove, where we did the best snorkeling in Oahu! Worth definitely the price! There were not a lot of restaurant nearby, but there is a foodland and you get access to a full kitchen and BBQ

Cant argue that this is a great location, but the standard of accomodation is not up to speed. Had the 2br ocean view which had a great upper deck verandah and BBQ, but thats about it. Floors were filthy, bathroom had not been cleaned, and the list go's on. Anyway, learnt a lesson with this one, wont stay here again.

This is not a luxurious place. It's old, and though the owners strive to maintain it, everything is well worn, at least in the budget section. You sleep on a firm bunk bed, and share a dated bathroom and kitchen. Like all shared kitchens, it isn't as pristine as you'd like, but it isn't bad either. You wake up to...

Fun atmosphere, lots of young folks. Met, cooked, shared food with people from all over. Bathroom not super clean, mattresses were old and uncomfortable. It can get loud at night with folks chatting outside your window (we ran the AC to drown out the noise). The owners/managers are hard to find but also don't hover. Great location. Walk or bike...

A big step up from a hostile. This big house is split up into apartments. You get your own private room and may share a kitchen, living room and bathroom with one or two other rooms. I think there are completely private apartments too for more $. We stayed there for the second time this year and ended up having...

This place is in an awesome location and is really chilled out and relaxing. So chilled out that I found the staff not very reliable, but they were super nice. As its not a high density accommodation type, it wasn't too noisy or rowdy but it still had a social and friendly atmosphere from all the staff and fellow travellers....
