This is the only hotel on the island and it is reasonable and fine . John McBride is at the activities desk and offers some personalized activities including the flower farm and waterfall hike. He can make your visit wonderful.

The rooms were very dark and hot, even with the cheap fan blowing loudly. The bar and restaurant service were incredibly slow, food mediocre though the waitresses were nice when they got around to you. While we were there, the entire bar and restaurant staff, with food and drink, up and left. That left us at the mercy of hiring...

The room was spacious and very comfortable. (The top floors are open to the environment which allows the island's temperate breeze to sway in the rafters.) There were even two smaller beds in the room to entice future vacationers to take a couple kids. The staff was friendly and helpful. (The only thing missing was the restaurant. It's being remodeled again...

The room was well furnished and included a mini fridge, such a nice surprise! Keep in mind there is no air conditioning, but there was a fan that was set up to cool the bed and room. We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice and had lots of chairs available. We also loved the hammocks around property! The...

This was a great little hotel the last time we visited it. Something happened, other than the restaurant closing down. I have only one thing to say... Micheal do your job and stop hiding on the hill. You've got good employees. It's not fair that you make them take the heat for your mismanagement. I hope I made my point....

This was our second time back to the Hotel Molokai, and this time, we brought our friends with us!! The restaurant has been rebuilt. The evening we arrived was New Year's Eve and the menu was a half chicken, roasted vegetables, and a potato side. It was so succulent and so much food, my husband and I ate that for...

This is my 3rd time visiting Molokai and the Hotel Molokai. We liked the old-style look and friendly staff here. Pros: Great oceanfront view on the back of the property and from some rooms. Close to town grocery stores for your kitchenette. Our bathroom was updated and had good water pressure. Cool flow-through breeze. Extra fan. Decent kitchenette and patio dining area. Friendly reception and activities staff. Cons: Don't expect to...

We moved out of Molokai Shores as it was truly horrible to find a lovely, friendly, somewhat dated hotel at Hotel Molokai. Basic rooms with their own balcony and plenty of space.
