This is my second time to stay at the Paia Inn. It is charming and I personally think it's in the best part of the island. I like that it isn't overly touristy. The beach area is really beautiful. The Paia Inn has beach chairs and body boards you can borrow daily. I stayed in the upstairs veranda which is...

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending our first two nights as newlyweds at the Paia Inn Hotel. Tucked in a wonderful, artsy community, the hotel was welcoming and friendly. Complimentary breakfast and wine was a a pleasure on our honeymoon. The staff was enthusiastic about making sure our stay in Maui was an enjoyable time. The complimentary...

Exceptional staff, fabulous location, comfortable rooms, great access to beautiful beaches. Nina, Tina, Carly and Sylvia are awesome! Would love to see those delicious Anthony's muffins @ breakfast again (thanks for accommodating our expectations!) Looking forward to in-house sushi bar next year. Everything was perfect. Mahalo.

We had the smallest room in the place, but the ambiance and location topped everything else. The employees must be hired on the basis of excessive cheeriness and incredible desire to assist. Their restaurant and menu (!) recommendatios were spot on. The iput on the Road to Hanna was very helpful. Their private beach and the beach walk from that...

We found the Paia Inn on Trip Advisor and were pretty much thrilled with the place and the people who own and manage it. It offers easy access to a nice beach and walking distance to a number of very good restaurants. It is a re-do of an older (by western standards) motel that is made up of a series...

We stayed at the Paia Inn for three nights with our 2 year old daughter. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Upon arrival, after a long travel day, we were greeted with wine, a tour to the beach, and they even ordered and delivered our dinner to us! Our room was comfortable with...

We had an excellent one night stay at The Paia Inn. The staff was more than attentive and genuinely friendly! Our studio suite was perfect. Every room was fresh, inviting and most importantly, relaxing. Our housekeeper took us on a tour of "how to get to the beach" when we arrived and we loved the dreamy paths to get there....

When we were trying to find the Inn we were a little confused when our GPS directed us to a Chevron station on the busy main street of Paia but when we stepped into the Inn they managed to create a whole different world. Carley was fantastic! So spunky, welcoming and helpful. I loved hte art and the interior design...

So many great reviewers have given all the studious facts you'll need so I'll not go into all the what-to-do's. I just want to thank the staff for a great surprise 10th Anniversary trip, first Hawaiian for both of us, and for the laid back atmosphere that made 7 days pass in the blink of an eye. Mahalo nui loa!

The Good 1. Front desk staff is unbelievably happy, super-cool and friendly (seriously, how are people this happy all the time?) 2. low key vibe of paia 3. The beach is a short walk through a path. Surfing was okay, knee to thigh, powerless waves, fun, no crowds, one turtle 4. Unbelievable fish sandwich at paia fish market The Not-So-Good...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The postcard perfection of Maui’s North Shore (white sand beaches, raging waterfalls, stylish cafes, and world-class surfers) just got even better with the opening of the Paia Inn. This beach town boutique hotel seamlessly blends modern amenities with the historic character of its building. In a nod to the town’s plantation trade days, the building’s exterior has retained its charm with tin rooftops and rustic hues; yet, the interior mixes contemporary island furnishings with the chic lushness of the W Hotel. ... more   less
