Way too close to the highway, this is the noisiest places I have ever stayed at. Could not sleep at all. It was so bad that I lost the second night that I had pre-booked in order to run away. Avoid at all cost.

We were a group of 8 friends and we found the house perfect for us. Lindsay the Inn keeper was fantastic, so friendly and helpful. There was always plenty of food for us to make breakfast. We would recommend your place to our friends.

My husband and I stayed at this small inn for 2 nights during a trip to Maui in March. There is so much to see on the East side of the island and the inn is an excellent starting point for the road to Hana and the drive up Haleakala. The towns of Haiku, Makawao and Paia offer many shops...

A group of us stayed at the Kuau Inn - it was a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day and start our day - self serve breakfast was a treat and the welcome we received unbeatable! Highly recommend!

Immaculate. Lovely host. Great location. Beautiful property to relax. This place is great value for maui. We stayed here as a starting point to cycle Haleakala in the early morning and for place to return afterwards. So happy to have this place. Great coffee/grocery/health food place right across the street.

My fiance and I stayed at Kuau Inn for 5 nights in March 2017 while we planned our wedding. I grew up in Maui, and was familiar with the Kuau area, which is a stone's throw away both from Hookipa Beach and Paia Town and only a 15-20 min drive to Twin Falls, on the road to Hana. So you...

I can't say enough good things about Lindsey, the innkeeper! She was so friendly and nice, and she had lots of terrific recommendations about beaches, surf lessons, and other attractions. One of the other guests commented that it was like staying at Grandma's house, and that's a good description. This is not a luxe condo with all sorts of modern...

We arrived at about 3:00pm and no one was around. There was a note telling us which room we were assigned to and the house was open. Other guests filled us in on where things were and how the breakfast worked. The inn was very clean and we liked the outdoor shower, but the noise from the highway was just...

This was our first stay at the Kuau Inn. It was extremely welcoming and made is feel like we were staying at a friends home. You can tell that Lindsey takes a lot of pride in her work. We really enjoyed the surrounding community and everything it has to offer. Make sure you check out the small beach right down...

This is a charming old house, very clean and comfortable. There is a communal kitchen with breakfast supplies so that you can make your own breakfast. Our room upstairs had a fan to keep the temperature comfortable. We had to open the windows for the breeze, which brought noise from the busy road but we got used to it. There's...
