We cannot recommend the Maui Guest House highly enough. We really felt at home there and there were so many nice touches that made our stay more relaxing and enjoyable: delicious fresh fruit platter at breakfast, everything you could need for the beach (towels, beach chairs, beach mats, boogie boards, snorkel equipment, coolers), the option of early breakfast for early...

This is our home on Maui! I have been remiss in writing because I don't know where to start and most everything has been said so well by other reviewers. We are repeat guests that come back because of Tanna and her house. Both are awesome, plain and simple. Tanna is a wonderful person that cares about her guests, the...

Maui Guest House is very simply the number one B&B on the island. Why? The answer begins with the innkeeper, Tanna. She came to SCUBA dive here twenty-five years ago and decided to stay. Tanna's welcoming, gracious and generous hospitality set the theme for our visit. From early morning Kona coffee to loaner snorkels and fins to high speed internet...

Maui Guest House offered us everything we could possibly need or want - from snorkel gear to beach supplies (coolers, beach chairs and umbrella, beach mat, boogie boards, beach towels, etc.), from in-room hot tub to an extensive DVD library (a god send for easily bored teenagers), free use of their in-house computer and wireless internet (another god send for...

Amazing B&B. All the amenities you can think of. Snorkel gear, body board, beach towels, beach chairs and more. Breakfast was a feast of fruit, muffins, cereal, beagles, eggs, yogurt and more. Rooms were very clean, hot tub was great. Loved the big screen tv and movie collection. Pool. A salt water pool. WOW!!! A+ experience. Would not hesitate to...

The house is beautifully decorated with tropical island theme. The rooms have beautiful stained glass and a "soft" tub (hot tub). The place is very well run. Tanna and her staff help you in any way they can. Each day starts with some fresh fruit , muffins and Hawaiian coffee. The house is situated about two blocks uphill from the...

You can judge a business by its repeat business, and this is my 17th year for staying at the original Guest House B & B on Maui. If you are tired of cold, expensive hotels with non-responsive staff, this might be the place for you. It is a spacious house with open living and dining. The deck is spacious with...

For those who stay at your favorite places time after time because they feel like 'home', this is it. From the time we walked in, the staff, the other guests and the house itself made it feel like it was ours. The location, tours, breakfast, rooms, etc were all excellent - can't be beat. The 2 things that sold me...

My husband and I just returned from the Maui Guest House, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The house itself is lovely. It's in a quiet residential area very close to the ocean and central to Lahaina and Ka'anapali. We took a walk along the water one morning to the Jodo mission and saw several turtles and humpback whales...
