What this resort calls a hotel room in Maui is on the back of the resort with only one small long narrow windoe On top of the headboard of the bed. There is nowhere to sit in the room and look out. Two rooms are connected with an outside door, we were in 402b, every morning we

If you are looking for a "resort" where you can hang out all day, probably not what you're looking for. But if you are looking for a nice base of operations for exploring Maui - this is it! Great location for access to day excursions to Lanai and Molokai, whale watching, and

Kahana Falls is conveniently located within walking distance to many restaurants - MisoPhat, Dollie's, Maui Brewing, etc, and a beach. Our room was dark with only a window to the hallway but we never planned to spend too much time there anyways. Compared to many other hotels in

Nice resort. Good location. Nice gym. Pretty but small pool. Close to beach. Our room on level 1 was spacious and well equipped. It was somewhat dark with not much sun exposure Pool was pretty but small and not too warm.

This is a minimalist property; it has little to truly recommend it. It is a condo, not in any way a resort. It is basic in amenities, cleanliness, and character. For example, one beach/pool towel per guest - no exceptions. Just weirdly unacceptable. If you do go here, make

The room was fine honestly, We didn't have any complaints, other than a few ants when we left food out on the counter, which was silly on our part. for activities, we book whale watching with Makai Adventures, and it was great. Skyline Eco Adventures runs ziplining in Kaanapali and over on Haleakala as well. We've done both, and would recommend either, though Haleakala might be better for the first time. Pick any beach from Napili down to the Aquarium, and you will find one that you like more than others. Mostly depends what type of beach you want. I like the beach just south of Mama Leota's pies. Water is fairly shallow, and you can park and walk 20 steps to the water. For views, I like Hookipa beach, over towards Paia. Honestly, the Road to Hana, and the hike up to Waimoku Falls is my favorite thing to do. There are some pleasant surprises on that hike, like the bamboo. Plan some time for shopping on Front Street in Lahaina. There are some cool shops there. Our favorite breakfast spot is the Sunrise Cafe in Lahaina, pretty affordable, but so is Slappy Cakes, next to the Times grocery store. The Safeway is Lahaina is further away than the Times, but better prices and selection. Ok, enough ranting. Set aside a little chill time, its easy to run yourself to exhaustion. Enjoy, and feel free to reach out again if you have more questions.

We did an RCI exchange and were given a tiny "studio" room. It faced the parking lot and highway and was terribly noisy. Two days later we were able to upgrade for about $70/night to the much nicer one bedroom unit with living room and dining room. It saved our vacation.
