SALEM, OR

The Kahana Reef is a great place for singles, more in the 55 year age and up. Quiet location most of the time. Our unit, 402, was well equipped with just about everything one would need. There was not really any need for air conditioning if you leave the front and rear doors open. There is a locking metal screen...

We spent a week at the 317 Khana Reef condo on the beginning of September and we couldn't be happier. Ocean was so close that we could hear it from our bedroom every night. All major activities were short drive away but far enough from the crazziness of big resorts, which we Loved. One day we were lucky enough to...

Home away from home. Close to everything yet removed from the tourist area. Beautifully appointed, they haven't forgotten a thing. Even the boogire boards are provided. Nice to be able to cook while there, we take advantage of the outside grill. Everything inside as well as the grounds are very well maintained. Highly recommend you stay here if it's available.

Where to begin...this condo has been like a home away from home. Breathtaking views with the amenities of home. Thank you to the Tatros for their hospitality and wonderful information about the island. This trip has been great and we cannot imagine staying anywhere else. We will be back!

This is our 2nd trip back to the Kahana Reef complex. We were in a different unit this time which had been upgraded over the last couple of years. The unit was very clean and had all the amenties needed to spend our 2 1/2 weeks there. The Kahana Reef complex is in a quieter location of Lahaina but still...

We booked #420 after a completely different condo on VRBO did not pan out. (This was not booked through VRBO.) I was trepidatious because I had really researched the first one, had allowed the owners to keep us hanging for two weeks, and then felt rushed making this substitute booking. I need not have worried. This apartment was clean, well...

We stayed in unit 117 and this place IS a home away from home. There were so many extra little things in the unit that made it our trip even better-beach chairs, cooler, boogie board, real coffee (not the hotel packets). Relaxing--I could sit on this porch all day and watch whales (which I've seen). It annoys me when people...

We stayed in unit 313 for 2 weeks in march. It was a very clean basic condo and the owner was very accommodating for us and gave us a very reasonable rate. The unit had everything we needed to be comfortable for our stay. This is oceanfront, 50 ft to water. Beautiful views. We came during a rainy time here but...

The units are good for 2 people and we have come here for 15 years. Great ocean front views. Very quiet with many units owner occupied. Kids will have nothing to do so leave them at home or stay in Kaanapali where they can find a buddy or two. Average age here is 60 years young.

We just got back from Maui where we stayed at Kahana Reef unit #317. We travel frequently and this was our 4th trip to Maui in particular. We found this property to be the best value on the island and will definitely stay here when we return. The unit is exceptionally clean and updated with modern finishings, including a new...
