We have stayed in Maui in the past, so this was not our first time in the Ka'anapali area. Normally we try and avoid larger resorts as our preference is more of a condo-type lodging for longer vacations, but as we were getting married here,...More

You have to pay $30 a day to valet parking the rental. This is the last shuttle stop on the way to town and if it's full they just stop and say they will be back in an hour. I saw them do that. If your just going to the town that the shuttle goes to a taxi is only about $15 each way and they are quicker and more reliable than the shuttle or getting the rental from valet. You have to physically go to valet before they will start to go get your car.

Aloha KMK S,
None of the Hawaiian Islands including Maui are affected by Kilauea volcano except a remote area along the Lower East Rift Zone on the island of Hawaii’s (Big Island) east side, Kilauea Summit and surrounding areas.
Air quality throughout the Hawaiian Islands remains largely unchanged with the exception of where the volcanic activity is happening.
