Situated on one of Maui's most beautiful beaches on Napili Bay, this hotel offers a peaceful escape with a variety of activities and friendly services.
The Mauian Hotel features quiet guestrooms without phones, stereos or TVs. For technological amenities, guests can visit the Ohana Room to watch TV or use free wireless internet access. In the morning, guests will enjoy a free continental breakfast, then can play on one of the oceanfront shuffleboard courts.
Championship golf and tennis is available at the adjacent Kapalua Resort. The area surrounding the Mauian is also filled with hiking, water sports and shopping opportunities.
My family and I stayed at the Mauian after traveling to Maui from New York. The hotel is situated on Napili Bay, a beautiful beach with wonderful opportunities for swimming and snorkeling. The gardens are beautiful and we had a comfortable stay in our room. Beds were comfortable and we even had a lanai. They offer a simple but satisfying breakfast consisting of coffee, juice, fruit, boiled eggs (sometimes), and bagels/breads. We were close to Kapalua Bay and were able to walk part of the Kapalua Coastal Trail which was really beautiful. There is a nearby supermarket, and places to rent snorkel equipment, boogie boards, umbrellas, etc., The Sea House and The Gazebo are walking distance for dining. I was very happy staying here and would definitely stay there again next time I am in Maui.…
Perfect place for a magical get away. It was an ideal location , we had a beautiful pool view and were steps from the beach. It’s quiet and peaceful. Walls are a bit thin so when a few noisy neighbors having a good time checked in, we heard every bit of it but hey if that’s the only bad thing I can say then that’s pretty good. The staff was incredible. Justice, Albert and Carmen are the best of the best. Nice light complimentary breakfast of fruits and breads and hard boiled eggs. Close to the market and perfect for catching some sun and snorkeling. We traveled with my parents, my husband and are 3 young kids. It was perfect for all of us. I can’t wait to go back to Maui and back to The Mauian
Hotel is cute and rooms are functional, but it’s not relaxing at all. Seems to be focused on a party all day vibe more than anything else. Big groups are always out playing games, being loud and drinking. I had read a similar review recently and thought it may be an exaggeration. If you are coming with a group of friends, I can imagine it’s fun. With your family, simply skip it.
Ideal. In every way. Perfect beach (bodysurfing + snorkeling) and bay for SUP. Comfortable rooms. Very chill vibe. Lush gardens. Great location to explore West Maui sites and enjoy Kaplaua (tennis + golf). Excellent nearby restaurants and grocery. Real spirit of aloha from staff! Cannot wait to return.
Wow-what a hotel! The location is the best part of this hotel by far! Right on the BEAUTIFUL Napili beach where we spent a lot of time. Views of the sunset every night were a major highlight of the trip. Rooms are nothing special, the kitchenette was a nice addition. We ended up picking up most of our meals and eating them on our Lani. Simple continental breakfast; taro rolls were fantastic! The wifi is stronger closer inland, cell reception was average. The mauian has done about everything they can to modernize the hotel without going under a full renovation, with that being said the walls are paper-thin The only real downsides were the older rooms and lack of privacy. a Perfect hotel for those looking to spend the majority of their time around the beautiful island of Maui, and not in a hotel room.…
