This place has a restaurant with good eats, a beautiful view, and sits on grounds that are nicely landscaped. They also has a small market and art gallery. This was a nice stop to eat after going to the summit of Haleakala. We tried the pancakes topped with macadamia nuts and coconut cream syrup...very tasty! I'm glad that it was...

We ate breakfast at the Kula Lodge on our trip down from watching the sunrise at Haleakala. The lodge sits several thousand feet above sea level on the side of Haleakala. The views are just unbelievable from the dining room. The breakfast was great. It was a bright, sunny, cool morning and we just loved it. We didn't stay at...

A great stop on the way to the winery if no other reason to see the stonework and have lunch, especially from the wood-burning pizza oven. Great art gallery too.

Kula Lodge is a great place to stay to stage a bike or hiking treck to Haleakala. The grounds are beautiful and the view from the dining room especially at sunset is breathtaking. The food is good and service in the dining room is wonderful. The pizza from the brick fired oven is delicious. You will hear traffic noise in...

A friend of mine, who had never stayed here, suggested this place. I raced to reserve a place because it looked so good on their webpage. OMG, what a mistake! It is located among suburbia, on a busy street; but the worst part is that it smelled, and appeared, like it's been untouched since the 60's. Has a lot of...

My son and I stopped here to eat breakfast while on a bike ride down Haleakala Crater. Great breakfast while enjoying an awesome view.

We just spent two nights at the Kula Lodge in Up-Country, Maui. The accommodations are OK, but the setting is really nice. And you don't have a lot of options in Up-Country Maui. So let's talk about the setting. The Kula area of Maui is one of our favorite spots -- warm days, cool nights, incredible views, beautiful flora. It...

After the early morning trip to see the sunrise on the Haleakala volcano. It was and add delight when me and my family enjoyed the welcoming service and great breakfast at Kula Lodge. The ham and cheese omelet was delicious and the French toast is best with the coconut syrup. YummmmE.

My husband and I just stayed at the Kula Lodge (the Elima Chalet) for 2 nights in early March. We found it to be a very warm and inviting place to stay. There are only 5 chalets, which is nice and makes it seem less touristy. We ate breakfast and dinner at the lodge restaurant both days and had only...

We needed to find a place to stay one night prior to us hiking the Sliding Sands trail into Haleakula. Many of the nearby bed and breakfast locations require more than one night. Kula Lodge allows one night stays. Kula Lodge is very close to the park entrance and an easy drive from the airport. We had a very nice...
