We have stayed at Kamaole Sands in the past and were most pleased with our accommodation. However this time, our unit did not meet the same standards. We were on the second floor in Building 5 right by the elevator and the garbage chute. Overall the unit needs to be cleaned and updated. The shower, dining room carpet, and stool...

We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay....We booked last minute for a ten day trip... The pictures were exactly like the facility....Spotless and beautiful.. We wanted a full kitchen, it was fully furnished with everything we could need. Directly across from the street from the ocean. We tried many beachs areas to snorkel and paddle board we...

We stayed here in November 2011. We booked through Hawaiian Airlines and were worried whether we would get a good condo or not. We stayed in Building 5-20x ( I can't remember the last digit) and we found the condo to be very quiet and well stocked. It was the one that when you come up the elevator turn immediatley...

The grounds were well kept and very clean. A great family environment, but also great for couples and singles as well. Lots of space for BBQ-ing and having gatherings. Our suite was in building 2. The condo had beautiful upgrades and great furniture. It was a home away from home. Overall I really enjoyed the environment, the condo was close...

Our unit was very beautiful and had a fantastic view! The loft bedroom was spectacular and the furnishings were fantastic. We stayed here for a week with 6 people and everyone loved it. One downside was the infestation of ants in the condo. We even had to get our own ant killer spray to fend off as many as we...

We stayed here from 11/7 to 11/14 on a really low priced trip package including air. We were assigned a ground floor condo unit in Build 5 in the rear of the complex. I was somewhat worried about the unit as others have had problems with the condition. Ours was Ok, the owner had recently remodeled a lot of it...

We rented a two bedroom/two bath condo through Scuba Shack. We were in building 4, 4th floor with a loft. The condo was well equipped, they even had salt, pepper, plastic bags, etc...small things that you always need, but just a few of. Never needed the a/c because we kept the lanai door open night and the ceiling fan on....

We stayed here for 2 weeks recently, our unit in building 4 was nice, had lots of upgrades, but our daughter was 2 suites over and hers was very dated and not too clean. The grounds are very nice, definetly depends which unit you are in, ours had nice furniture on the Lanai, but my daughters was horrible. The grounds...

I guess your experience would depend on the room you ended up in. Our room had multiple problems including a broken washer and dryer. Overall, if you can get a good deal, this is a great place to stay with your family.

We stayed at the Kamaole Sands for a week and had a terrific time! We were in building 10 which was a short walk to a great beach across the street. We really enjoyed our condo and will be booking here again next year. We had upgraded to a partial ocean view & were glad we did, made morning coffee...
