If you want to spend a week in a library.... then this is the place... We were spied on the whole 6 days we spent there..... If you are not an owner, than your are an enemy. I stayed in G8, and we felt that we couldn't do anything. You farted and they complained. I will not bring my family here again, ever......

This condo was absolutely perfect! It was about 10 steps off our patio to the beach. The beach was great too. We saw whales every morning from right outside our doors. The condo was quiet and very clean. Also everything we needed was there. Coolers, towels, swimming stuff and on site laundry and only a few steps from where we parked to get into condo. We loved this place so much. Would definitely recommend this spot especially because the beach was so perfect and literally right in our back yard!

The unit rented was well maintained and had some updates since I visited last year. The location is great if you like peace and quiet. The property has a pool and is close to the beach. Each unit is privately owned so there will be variations in quality and service received.

I must say this property is beautiful and the grounds well kept and maintained . The pool is not heated but it’s clean and well kept up on . This property is just steps away from the beach and the sand is yummy the beach is called sugar beach . This property is old ( built in 1974) the exterior of the buildings are very well maintained . Each unit are privately owned and when shopping on line pictures can be deceiving . This is our first time visit to Maui The condo we stayed in was unit E-5 -I do not recommend this unit at all its old , run down and well filthy . It’s not maintained well at all by the owner or the property management . The view from this unit is fantastic and it’s on the second floor it does have 2 beds a queen and a king , the kitchen is well stocked with appropriate amenities it’s just that the unit it old run down and yucky filthy carpeting if this doesn’t bother you then stay in this unit if your not in to filth don’t stay here . I would return to this property again I would just stay in a different unit . ( I give the property , View, Beach , parking , location a 5 Star ) the unit E-5 a 1 Star !!

Aloha Cheryl, Thank you so much for your feedback about unit E5. We did offer to move you to another available unit. Instead you chose to receive a discount. Each unit is individually owned and updated, so always good to call us prior if you have any questions or concerns from the online photos. They are all checked for cleanliness before arrival. We appreciate feedback and do our best to make any changes that we can. We are so glad that you loved the property and we look forward to having you stay with us again in the future.

This is a truly lovely space. The grounds are beautiful with all of the tropical shrubbery you expect to see in Hawaii. You are footsteps from a stunning and peaceful beach with none of the crowds found on the more heavily trafficked parts of the island. You are close to many amenities including the spectacular Sugar Beach bakery, a farmers’ market, and an ABC store. The unit was comfortable and roomy with fabulous beach views. I highly recommend this property.

Great unit! Clean, comfortable, well appointed place for our 8 nights in paradise! Owner Luke Knowles has done an awesome job with his condo, nice decor, furnishings, kitchen utensils etc... awesome to have beach chairs, coolers, umbrella, boogie boards, snorkel gear for the kids! G8 literally has a view of the ocean no matter where you are at in the kitchen, dining, living areas. The picture I added is the view from the lanai. The property manager Ryan does an awesome job keeping the grounds, pool, barbecue area spotless with the help of his always busy and very polite staff. Will definitely stay again and recommend to all!

Reluctant to tell everyone about it for fear I won't be able to book anymore. It was fantastic!!! Right on the beach, easy access to many other things. Walk to farmers' market and shave ice stand. I'm not one who enjoys high rise-style crowded hotels, so this is so great in that you really feel isolated from all that, but you can still visit them if you want to. Great area for paddle boarding or windsurfing. Snorkel in other places if you want to see a lot, not much under water here.

Unit G-9 was great for a family vacation with our two grandsons, aged 10 and 12. The boys loved their loft bedroom with the spiral staircase and separate bathroom. Our bedroom was very comfortable, with more storage than we needed. G-9 is nicely decorated and the kitchen is better equipped than most vacation rentals. We found everything we needed to prepare meals. The grounds are lovely and right on the beach, with two pools as well. Even during a busy period the pools were never crowded. This was a lovely spot for a spring break trip with kids. This is a second-floor unit, with some stairs to get in and a spiral staircase to the loft, so not good for those with mobility problems but perfect for families with older kids.

We recently spent 12 nights in Unit F 6 at Maalaea surf resort. This was our second time staying at the resort and once again it was fantastic. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. We had the pool and beach largely to ourselves. Other residents and guests are friendly and welcoming. The ritual conch ceremony at sundown is fun to observe or participate in. Our only reservation is that some units, including F 6 are in need of an update. The kitchen cabinets are very dated, new furniture would be appreciated and bathrooms could use a refresh. We have stayed in two other units which are less rustic. The upper units offer great views of the ocean, especially in buildings other than F, which is furthest from the beach.

Room Tip: Next time we would select a main floor unit to allow easier access to the lawn, pool and beach.

Terrible terrible, terrible. This unit is old run down and needs updating. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. If there is any other unit or any other place in Maui to stay take it. Five star price for one star accommodation Complex is beautiful, view is amazing, unit is terrible.
