Certainly a welcome sight after the long 3hr drive down the Road to Hana! Curves and narrow road that goes on for hours but the views are just out of this world. If you are hesitant to drive you can get a tour bus to take you. The cottage is wonderful, neat spacious and great kitchen. No air conditioning but... More

This cottage has a rustic feel, like you're living like the locals. Except you get a hot tub, which is fantastic after hiking up to Waimoku Falls. The place is surrounded by flowers and trees. I liked it. The sitting area had great-looking furniture, the bed had a comfy pillow top mattress. Kitchen had pretty much everything we needed, including... More

My husband and I stayed at the Tradewinds Cottage as a 2 night stay cation from kihei and it was absolutely perfect! What a beautiful place with lush green forest and fruit trees all around! I really enjoyed the hot tub and my wonderful early morning stroll down through the yard and down the beautiful road. Will definitely stay here... More

If you want the Hana experience, this is a great location. Steps away from the water, although you can't really swim because it's rocky and rough. The beach park is about 5min walk down the road for safe access for swimming. About 5min drive is the Hasegawa store, and the state parks are all close by. Convenient location! The cottage... More

I loved the stay at the Tradewinds cottage! The lanai with the private hot tub surrounded by tropical gardens was a real treat after a rainy day on the road to Hana. You do not have much a view, but you have privacy in a beautiful garden. The cottage is very well maintained. It has two bedrooms (you can choose... More

We recently spent two nights in the Hana Cabana and were very impressed by how secluded and beautiful the property is. The cabana is pretty well equipped, and the BBQ and private hot-tub were really great extras. The geckos were a bit noisy, but didn't bother us at all. We were, however, quite disappointed with the service from the owners.... More

We stayed at the Hana Cabana for two nights, and found it a great place to call home. It is spacious and airy, with large windows facing out into the flower farm. Even after a flower harvest day, we saw birds-of-paradise, red and pink ginger, avocado trees, hibiscus, and lots of heliconia, which were fun to sketch from the lanai.... More

The setting is stunning inside the jungle Complete with rainforest, rain, birds, and rain The great Lanai provides a great place to watch the rain come down and a small hot tub to keep warm in. Great clean cottage that has beach towels, small gas BBQ grill, gas stove/oven, large fridge, shower and TV I would ask if the Queen... More

I brought my elderly father and cousin along on a trip to Hana and wanted to find a nice place to stay overnight. There were a few places that were less $$ but this place kind of had it all. I found it to be beautiful, private and very nicely maintained. The hot tub was a nice plus and it... More

Tradewinds Cottage is in a lovely quiet spot. It is well-appointed, has comfortable beds and is very clean. Only complaint would be that the shower went cold after a very few seconds.Maybe that is a subtle way of getting people to save water! Lovely flowers abound. Pricey.
