This was the perfect start to our vacation. We arrived on Maui two days before meeting up with our group of friends for a week at Puamana. Did not know what to expect but as soon as we arrived at the Inn we knew we were home. Old Hawaii is the best way to describe it. You can see and...

Mahalo... it was truly a pleasure and honor to have you here with us in our lovely home. Thanks so much for making the comment to remember it is a home and not a resort or condo or hotel setting. We are realistic in nature and tangible vintage Hawaiian, nestled in a charming community. It was so much fun talking...

How can describe something so perfect? Sandy, the owner, made us feel so comfortable from the second we walked through the door. I spent 12 evenings there and each day was better than the one before. How could that be? We had two separate rooms there and both were GREAT and very clean. When we walked your room, the bed...

Well what can I say in a comment response other than I make the best friends ever operating this cozy and lovely B&B here in Haiku. You guys were great and truly a testament to just how lovely and wonderful our guests are that find their way through our front door. Mahalo, mahalo.. I am rating this as to what it is: a B&B. One does get the impression that some of the more negative reviewers were expecting a five star resort. As a B&B this is a great place in a very convenient location to explore Maui. Sandy is a great host and she definitely finds the right way to deal with...

My husband and I loved staying in the Haiku Plantation Inn. Hotels and resorts are great, but if you want to really experience Maui, stay with Sandy at the historic Haiku Plantation Inn. I loved the garden with avacado and banana trees right outside my window and I appreciated all the extras from a small fridge to store items for...

Thank you Sandy and your team for an enjoyable and relaxed 3 nights. We had two rooms and they were both very comfortable, clean and attractive. The breakfast provided in the morning was fresh and nutritious. We enjoyed mingling with the other guests and found that everyone was mindful of the peaceful setting. We loved meeting you Sandy and thank...

Great place to stay away from the crowds but close enough to all that maui has to offer. Sandy welcomes you into her home and shares her love of maui and its people with you and has many tips of places for you to expore.

I was chocked to experience this place, not at all as described. Very unloved place, humid, rotten smelling and with bugs in lamps, stains on towels etc. Meagre breakfast and moody hostess. Creepy place that was once beautiful.

I decided to respond since I am truly not sure why we would be reviewed in this manner. Sometimes I do think not giving the energy into something that is so negative and incorrect is drawing more attention than necessary. Other readers can make their own decision as to why this might appear. However, if anyone takes the time to...

I had a wonderful stay at the Haiku Plantation Inn this week. I enjoyed staying at the Inn because Sandy opens her home and her heart to her guests. The breezes blowing through the house was so invigorating and the Hawaiian décor was perfect. I found the home and grounds authentic and charming. I will definitely stay here on my...

Life in Haiku is fully a special experience and I am so glad you had the opportunity and heart to feel and enjoy this wonderful side of the island. It's nice to still live in a location where Aloha is lived daily and where visitors can actually meet and share time with our local population. Mahalo again for staying with...

We started our Hawaiian time share beach vacation this year with grand children for a week. It was wonderful to see how much fun a family vacation can be. Then we headed to the up country and finished our days at the Haiku Plantation Inn. It was just what we needed to wind down and relax before heading back to...

We usually go to Maui in February, but this year we tried September. The accommodations at this B&B were once again nice and much more quiet because of the time of year. Sandy again provided a wonderful breakfast each morning and made us feel right at home. The only difference was the # of other guests. We're considering doing this...
