This B&B was exactly as the TripAdvisor reviews had described: a comfortable restored plantation house in upcountry Maui, convenient to both the road to Hana, and to the Haleakala downhill bicycle tour, both of which were on my bucket list for this trip. Beautiful well-maintained outside grounds with a variety of tropical and subtropical flora, and inviting common areas. The...

Aloha. Apologies for being away however everyone has family emergencies time to time. Wes and the staff are wonderful hosts, on the rare occasion I am away. Thanks for mentioning them. In reference to the curtains comment, all rooms have curtains on all their windows. Those are even visible in our room photos. I am not sure how that comment...

Beautiful plantation house set in the lush surroundings of the Haiku area. They have beautiful rooms, lovely main room and warm and inviting staff. They made me feel at home and were very welcoming. I would have loved to stay here longer!

Mahalo for allowing us to be your hosts. We appreciate the mention of the grounds and how beautiful the old home is; so others can appreciate vintage can be lovely and well maintained. We will see you again sometime soon we hope back here in Haiku. Where live is good and pace is slower.

This was exactly what we were looking for : an unpretentious and friendly place to stay, that was centrally located and easy to get to and from. No traffic, noise, or rowdy vacationers. Sandy was the consummate host; warm, welcoming, helpful, and always ready and able to give us tips on what was going on around the island. We felt like...

Mahalo for taking time to review and mentioning how we love to share our local knowledge with our guests. Years of hospitality service and owning a destination management company trains you well in the gift of or the need to search out new knowledge about your destination. It gives us much pleasure to see that spark when a guest gets...

We planned a short notice trip to Maui for a few days and we luckily found the haiku plantation and booked our stay. The setting is quiet and unlike other locations on the island. Away from the noise and the really touristic crowds, you feel how Hawaii is truly mean to be. The grounds are surrounded by green lunch plants...

It was a pleasure to have you both here and we are so glad that you felt like family and our extended ohana. That is what staying in a real bed and breakfast is intended to be because you are in someone's actual home. It is a more relaxed atmosphere and not so regimented as a resort or hotel. It's...

Nicely decorated and very well-maintained. Plenty of room in the public areas to hang out, read, have a drink, chat, whatever. There's actually much more room available for guests than in most, much larger B&Bs we've stayed in. Continental Breakfast is nothing fancy but does the job. In a quiet corner of Maui. So quiet, paradoxically, that it seems noisy;...

A beautiful plantation house nicely furnished, exceptionally clean, great owner, good food. If I remember correctly, there are 6 bedrooms, all relatively spacious. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Convenient location for driving Hana Highway.

Stayed in Dec. 2016 with my wife for 3 nights. The Haiku Inn is indeed an historic and charming place to stay. The owner, Sandy, is very friendly and a little quirky, which describes the locale in general. There are a number of good, reasonably priced restaurants within a 2 minute drive in downtown Haiku. The location is prime to...

Well a funny thing happened during this time period. About that yogurt... It seems we had a midnight snacker and afternoon hacker... food that is.. for a few days.. pretty much eating and drinking their way through the B&B supplies. There are private and staff only signs in the important locales in the B&B kitchen. So this particular morning I...

The owner, Sandy, is open hearted, talkative, and a great source of information about Maui -- what to see, where to eat, and so on. She made both of us feel loved -- that is very important to us. The house is an historical resource on a very lovely plot of land full of fruit trees. Sandy could not put...

First, I had so much fun shopping for ornaments, a little Santa surprise, for Christmas morning. Set in a tropical paradise this old plantation made us feel like we were stepping back into the "authentic" Hawaii. Sandy was delightful and always helpful. One feels one is staying in a friend's home.

My wife and I wanted to be away from the resorts and crowds. We found the real paradise of Maui. Hidden away in the quiet town of Haiku, this is the perfect setting for an intimate getaway. Short drive to all the sights. The owner; Sandy was very accommodating and the place was beautiful, well kept. Will go back again.
