This trip had been on my bucket list and my husband's bucket list for several years. Without a doubt, if I could give this place more than five stars I would. The owner was beyond gracious, the place was very, very private and the annuities...More
What a beautiful spot overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed coffee and meals on our patio as well as a glass of wine in the evenings. The units are older, built in the 70's and not very big but fine for two or 4 people. We...More
Our family had a wonderful time in this quaint little unit overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Views are truly A+ from this unit...even waterfalls from the kitchen. Sealodge is so quite and peaceful, private. St. Regis is more up to date and nicer (and definitely more $$)...More
We stayed at Sealodge Princeville a few months back. The complex is older but very well taken care of. If you like quite and Spectacular Sunrises and Sunsets this is the place for you. The Condo is well taken care of this is our 3rd...More
After I booked this unit, I read some of the reviews and was quite apprehensive. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The unit was clean and spacious. The instructions we received prior to our arrival from AHH! Aloha Vacation Rentals were clear, concise and thorough....More

No, but there are walking/running trails all over the larger Princeville compound. My wife and would start the day with a 3 to 4 mile walk, and you can walk up to the grocery mall easily. We swim at Anini beach each day, with the turtles, so we haven't felt like a stair machine would or other indoor gym equipment would be of much good. The room would need to be A/C'd anyway, so why bother? It will also depend on the time of year you are here. Winter, the trades blow, and it's wonderful without A/C. Summer, without the Trades, you might find it too humid. Could just go to the Mississippi Delta and steam. But you snorkel on the north shore then, as the winter swell is not in. The beaches in January on the north side are very dangerous. No one other than surfers go out in them for good reason. Lots of killer rip tides.
If you want more exercise you can rent bikes in Hanalei, or go out to the trails that go beyond Ke'e beach for a real rugged workout as long as you can walk in a day. (We had hiking boots but saw locals walking barefoot in the warm mud!).
So don't worry about the exercise gym, or pay a lot more and go to a resort that has one.
The whole issue of A/C is a 'depends on you' issue. We have been here twice in January, never a need for A/C. And we don't want it! The fans work great. Lots of cross breeze. But in summer you are going to have to decide... More
The whole issue of A/C is a 'depends on you' issue. We have been here twice in January, never a need for A/C. And we don't want it! The fans work great. Lots of cross breeze. But in summer you are going to have to decide whether you can live with hot humid air with little breeze. It may not be your cup of tea, but don't blame Sealodge. If you need A/C, then go to a more expensive condo. There are tons of them with views of the golf course instead of the ocean, and cost twice as much.
