This was our first visit to the Cliffs Resort and what a fine visit it has been. We exchanged into the Cliffs Resort as an RCI exchange, booking a sleep 6 unit. The unit was spacious and roomy for our family of 5. The master bedroom is complete with a desk, a sitting chair, two dresser drawers, television, ceiling fan,...

This was our second visit to Kauai and our first visit to The Cliffs. We had a one bedroom unit with a bit of an ocean view. The unit was clean and well equipped. The grounds are lovely. The property is close to restaurants, golf, beaches, etc. though a car is necessary. The people available for facials and massages were...

This was our first visit to Kauai and we based our decision to stay at the Cliffs Club largely on the positive reviews found on this site. I can say without hesitation our stay was wonderful in every measurable way. The location is perfect, perched high on a cliff face allowing fabulous views of the north shore, particularly good for...

Our 900 SF - one bed unit would be large enough for us to hunker-down for a long stay. The kitchen was kitted-out with all cookware and utensils -- minus a salad spinner. We were on the ground floor (usually a negative for us) facing a large grassy yard and trees which gave it a feel of a large, private...

Aloha from The Cliffs, Mahalo for your kind words and we're pleased to know our resort met your expectations. We look forward to welcoming you back when your plans again include Kauai's North Shore. Mahalo.

My wife and I stayed in a first floor condo for 3 nights in January. The condo was clean and well-furnished (we were told it had been recently remodeled). Every morning nenes and other birds would visit us on the lanai (a bonus for being on the first floor). Even though there are many condos packed into 3 story buildings,...

Aloha from The Cliffs, I was pleased to see you were happy with our resort in general and the unit itself. It was, of course, disappointing to hear about your wi-fi problems. We have spent a rather sizable sum (pushing $100k) to upgrade our system and for the most part our guests are pleased with our service as reported on...

We found that this was an older vacation resort that we found using Trading Places. The unit was on the first floor but it does have units with ocean views, now that we know. The unit had all the conveniences we would expect and one building was being renovated at the time of our stay, but not a problem for...

Aloha from The Cliffs, Mahalo for your kind words and we're pleased to know our resort met your expectations. Yes, we are 1/2 way through renovating the rooms in building one and are looking forward to getting them back on-line here shortly. We are doing the same to our tennis courts in 2 months and a property-wide solar installation is...

This resort is older as so many here are. The room had been remodeled and was mostly clean with the exception of stains on the carpet in Master bedroom. Beware, this resort has a 'resort fee' of $80.00 that neither they or Interval tell you about and a tax rate if $4.98/day. We arrived on Thursday evening and were assigned...

Aloha from The Cliffs, Mahalo for your comments and views of our resort. We take great pride in our facility and appreciate your feedback. Regarding the "$80 Resort Fee", that information is passed on to II, your booking source" and is clearly stated in the confirmation info you should have received from II. If you did not, I would appreciate...

We stayed in #5106 and it was very nice. The condo has everything you need there, close to the beach and shopping, and short walk to spectacular ocean vista. We could see the ocean from the condo lanai and saw whales every day. We played the golf courses there, also extremely nice. The staff and amenities we're excellant! Good price,...

We traded a time share through Interval Int. and came up with the Cliffs resort. We love Hawaii but had never been to Kauai so we decided to give it a try right after the 1st of the year (Jan 2 to the 9th). Our plane was 5 hours late so instead of having a nice daylight drive from Lihue...

I have been coming here for over 20 years now and they are simply the best in town. The maintenance on the grounds is always wonderful and the staff is the friendliest group I have ever dealt with. I love this place and ONLY stay here when I come to Kauai.
