We planned to stay for a week and immediately added 2 more days when we walked in the door. Saw whales before we put our suitcases down! We've vacationed in Hawaii over 10 times and this was the most relaxing because of Whalers Cove's location and serenity. The staff was always helpful and full of aloha! Absolutely coming back next...

We stayed 10 nights in unit #232. The unit had everything we needed plus we could get around any where easily. Lots of restaurants within walking distance or a quick car ride. Lanai was perfect for watching whales, water craft, scuba and snorkelers or just the ocean or night sky. Our only complaint is the lighting system. Strange multi-switch plates...

This condo complex was perfect for the kind of vacation I was looking for. I was wanting to be in sunny Poipu, but not wanting to be in the thick of it, so to speak. Whaler's Cove sits on a rock outcropping about 1 mile souht of the main beach at Poipu. There is a secluded feeling here that is...

We spent 5 wonderful nights in Unit 136, a nicely-decorated 3rd floor condominium with 2 stories, 2 bedrooms, and 2.5 baths. It was absolutely amazing to be right on the oceanfront with the waves crashing just feet away. The living room/dining area, bedroom and master bath (and of course the lanai) all had views of the sea. We were constantly...

My partner and I spent an amazing 2 weeks at the beautiful Whalers Cove resort. The resort is very well maintained with beautiful landscaping and is immaculately clean. The staff are always smiling and very friendly. The views are amazing as you are right on the water which makes it great for seeing turtles, watching the whales breach, and of...

Our second visit and we love the views, location, and staff ...but- some of the units are terribly out- dated. There needs to be a truth factor when you call to rent a place. On our first visit our unit was beautiful, this time - not so much. You need to be told about the condition of the unit you...

We had not been to Kauai since 1988, ( pre Iniki) and never had a desire to return until we went back in December, 2013, and stayed at Whaler's Cove Resort, unit 133. We traveled with our best friends who for the last 12 years always rent unit 135. I can't even begin to describe Whaler's Cove. Our unit was...

Just got back from a fabulous week at the Whalers' Cove on the beyond beautiful island of Kauai. We stayed in Condo 211 and couldn't have been more pleased. This condo is very spacious, clean and has everything you need for a great time away from home. We especially enjoyed all the local themed artwork and furnishings which were very...

Whalers Cove Resort is a gorgeous property sitting right on the ocean's edge. It is of older construction but very well maintained with stunning views. We were entertained daily with whales frolicking in the ocean and enjoyed the view from a huge lanai with well appointed outdoor furniture perfect for sun bathing. Unit 122 is a lovely and spacious unit...
