To sum it up - once you arrived, its hard to leave the apartment. Amazing views from the room, brilliant private terrace space & the dolphines/whales are travelling by :-). We had to push ourselves out to do sighseeing on the beautiful island of kauai as we just loved the place so much. Needless to say that the apartments have everything you need from great kitchen till laundry and super friendly staff like the manager Marianne who will take care of you once you are there. Koloa town nearby is a beautiful, relaxed place to spend some time and get your groceries done (dont miss the food trucks). It also features a great wine & champagne shop. We will for sure come back!

We saw other 'swanky' places on Kauai, but none had the proximity to the ocean along with huge balconies for viewing the sunsets. In fact, we spent much of our time enjoying the views from our balcony, including eating three meals a day out there. Sometimes we saw surfers and divers. The first day, we spotted whales. Later, dolphins. We felt like Walers Cove was ALL OURS, because it's been built in a way that allows for plenty of privacy. The evening 'star show' was incredible since there's no light pollution. Couldn't have been better.

Whaler's cove was the best place I have ever stayed! Everything at the cove was wonderful!! Marianne had the condo completely ready when we arrived. The sliding doors were open to the ocean breeze and you could hear the ocean waves. The fridge was packed with groceries and we could relax as soon as we arrived. The condo had everything we needed including beach towels, books, and even binoculars. The view from the master bedroom was wonderful! You could see a garden, complete with orchids and banana trees, and ocean waves. We were thrilled to find Baby Beach and shopping within walking distance. We plan to return as soon as we can.

We have been coming to Kauai from Kansas for 28 years. Whalers is the place you have seen in your minds eye. The ocean sounds are in background, relaxing. The sea divers are right here as are the sea turtles and whales in season. Rooms are first class as is the staff. Plenty of restaurants near by and so is shopping and sandy beaches Thanks again Kent for sharing your condo and Marianne for the hospitality.

From the moment we arrived at this breathtaking property we were amazed, it was our first time to Kauai and we could not have picked a better paradise if we tried, a stunning ocean view, a river inlet to the ocean full of sea turtles, lush landscaping, a beautiful pool right on the ocean…just perfect. Another truly amazing feature was the staff, we first met Marianne on arrival who had our keys at the ready as we had come in after hours, she could not have been more helpful and she set the tone for how to be laid back on Kauai, next day we met Lionel who provided us with extraordinary Aloha and local knowledge, nicest man we’ve ever met on the islands, I believe the woman in charge was Elaine? Extremely nice and arranged our late check out in such an amazing laid back way…. we are so grateful, there were 2 other gals who’s names escape me, one fixed our safe and the other mailed our postcards.. i cant say enough about the staff, the landscapers were so genuinely friendly, i could go on all day.. we will be back next year, thank you Whalers Cove!…

My husband and I had a most wonderous stay in Unit #123 at Whalers Cove. The ocean view from the large lanai is impressive and continually amazes; we come from the prairies so it’s always fabulous to be near the ocean. The photos of the unit are accurate, it really is that great. The unit itself is extremely well appointed and the décor is very tasteful in it’s Hawaiian theme. The owners have created a welcoming and calm atmosphere. The condo is spacious and would be well suited to 2 couples or a family with children/teens with it’s 2 bedroom 2 ensuite configuration. We found the kitchen to be thoughtfully stocked with every cooking implement one could think of and all items in excellent condition from the sharpness of the knives to the provision of Tupperware and plastic glasses for the poolside. The pool area overlooking the ocean is quite beautiful and tranquil. The grounds are fabulously manicured and it is a lovely oasis of calm entering the resort. Any staff we encountered were most helpful and friendly. The presence of an onsite office is most reassuring in case any questions or concerns arise.…

I have been to Kauai before.but this by far was the best experience I have had. The condo itself was clean and well appointed and the location was ocean view and nestled into the coast in a perfect way. What really made it stand out was the attentiveness of the staff. From the front desk to the manager who helped us obtain a much needed umbrella and other things, we felt like special guests in a special place.

BIG shout out to the amazing on site staff. I have I stayed at other places that don’t offer this and I can definitely say I will be back. Having them greet me everyday with a smile and attend to all my needs was fantastic. They even went and got me more ice one night. Thank you

We stayed in unit 212 at Whaler's Cove, great views (even saw whales from the back patio), pool area was very nice and the people were all very helpful. Would recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the large hotel properties in the area.
