We had a awesome stay at KBR. We enjoyed all areas of the resort including the spa. Massage was outstanding with a coconut head treatment. This resorts food and beverage was excellent too, breakfast, pool food, dinner, ice cream sundae....four of us, so we ordered many different items over our entire stay and enjoyed all of it. Yes, they do need more upgrades which they are working on. However, very clean, comfortable beds/pillows, balcony. Perfect location, the grounds are amazing, music everyday. The team were all outstanding, thank you Indy and team for a wonderful 30th anniversary stay
Was booked here on a business trip. Arrived at 2pm and was told rooms not ready, we don’t check in until 4pm, but will call you if its ready earlier(fair enough, I was early). About 90 minutes of sitting opposite the front desk and seeing multiple guests being checked in, I went and ask and was rudely told that its not 4pm yet and then handed a room key. Got to my floor and the floor was under construction. Dirty, tools out, orange cones out and just a very uninviting setting. Worst part is that I was not told ahead of the time that there is construction or at checkin. The room was ok. Run down, comfy bed, but really nothing and the balcony door was slightly broken and the view was a dirty work area. When I left the room on the first morning I put the sign out for Housekeeping service. I left at 7am and returned at 4:45pm. Nobody ever showed up to service the room and the housekeeping trolley was right outside my room, so there were people working. Overall a very disappointing stay and i wont be back.…
Great spot . Beautiful views . Room is ok - a little worn but comfortable. However the front desk and service were by far some of the worst I have ever seen! When I ask for taxi service to restaurants, airport ,town , etc- I was given a list of cab companies by the concierge for me to call and a “Good Luck”! The room was not only not made up- no new towels, trash not emptied, no refills for coffee maker., no water glasses. The wait staff however was cheerful and attentive- food mediocre. All in all I would not recommend this place..
The location of the hotel is good. It is a little bit challenging to get on the road first thing in the morning with all the traffic but that's not the hotels fault. The rooms were clean. We love that it was on the beach so we could go and watch the sunrise. And we love the ocean view from our room. We sat on the balcony every morning and evening and watch the waves. The food at the restaurant was okay but the alcoholic drinks were subpar. We went to Safeway and bought our own alcohol and drank in our room instead. The reason why I gave it three stars is because we didn't have hot water for 3 days out of the 7 days we stayed there. Then when they finally "fixed" the hot water you had to run the sinks hot water for 20 minutes before you could take a shower but you only had a few minutes to take a shower before it started turning cold again. Also when you try changing the thermostat temperature in the room, it really doesn't change. We were hot while we slept most of the nights.…
My friends and I traveled over from Oahu and stayed at the Kauai Beach Resort & Spa for a weekend. We loved how close it was to the airport and the beautiful beach it was built along. The live music by the pool and the customer service at the front desk set the tone for our stay. We had a beautiful view of the pool and beach (similar to the thumbnail). I would highly recommend the Kauai Beach Resort & Spa and whenever I make it back to Kauai, I will definitely be staying here again. 10/10.
