Stayed one week at this hotel with wife and two kids age 9 and 6. Everyone enjoyed the hotel and especially the pool - a big flower-shaped pool with 4 ft depth, 5 adjacent hot tubs, and 5 animal-themed fountains. In the middle is an island for lounging accessible by a bridge. Spectacular setting in the Kalapaki Bay with mountain...

I don't know why I've never written a review for the Kauai Marriott until now! This was our first Hawaiian experience over ten years ago, and I think it is what initially made us fall in love with the Hawaiian Islands. My husband and I have been back twice since our first trip to Kauai. Our first stay was for...

Stayed here for five nights. Nice rooms, comfortable beds. Not brand new...rooms showed their age in the bathrooms. Small. But everything worked well, hot showers, etc....so we liked our stay. Pool area is very nice as you can tell from the photos. Restaurants nearby in every category.....from cheap cheap to very expensive. Duke's was good place to start. View of...

While the resort is quote close to the airport, we hardly heard any airplane noise, certainly nothing that bothered us. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The mattress in our room desperately needs to be replaced (a king size bed that was sunken on either side; if I could have slept right in the middle where it wasn't worn,...

This resort really is quite lovely, but... there are a few things which I wish I had known before traveling. First of all, it's really close to the airport, and seemed to be somewhat far from all the activities around the island. You pretty much need to rent a car in order to get around, unless you book activities that...

We purchased a time share here the first year they were available. We come every year and have always had a wonderful time. Service is great, food is good. Cafe Portofino is the best. We go here at least twice every year and have never had a bad meal. I sure do not agree with Christie's reviews. She does not...

The property and rooms are well kept up and clean, however the staff is not great. Twice reported a light out in bathroom, it was never changed. Also we had 3 reservations we combined and the front desk did not combine our keys so we had get our keys changed several times, which they told us on the last day...

Aloha from the Kauai Marriott Resort! Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences during your recent vacation with us! I am pleased to be able to share your delights with our resort, and also use your feedback as training topics for our staff. As our property is in an oceanfront location, and all beaches on Kauai are...

Murphy bed was pointless, like sleeping on grandma's pullout couch. Very uncomfortable. And the resulting couch was also very uncomfortable, too low and shallow to be ergonomically useful. The resort grounds were lovely, but pay more for a real, stationary bed. You've come all this way, you might as well sleep in peace. Unfortunately, there was black mold growing on...

We were totally surprised what was hidden beyond the unassuming exterior of this time share / hotel Marriott. After descending 3 stories down the escalator you emerge into tropical paradise with koi ponds and huge works of arts. After passing through the open lobby with large marble pillars and an antique outrigger canoe you are transported to a pool and...

We stayed in a 1 bedroom with Lani for a full week. This is a beautiful resort with tons of artwork, Asian sculptures, koi ponds and lush landscaping. We're perfectly happy just hanging out at the resort all day. Technically we covered the entire island in 2 days. We did want to go fishing, but the rip tides were too...
