We had a wonderful time here - calm, relaxing with beautiful grounds. The rooms are straightforward and the staff are friendly.
We picked it because it looked nice online and is located in Kapaa. Roughly equidistant to North and South shores, this was a good...More
This hotel is in a nice location but I highly recommend renting a car to go and sight see, go out for dinner etc - I found this the hard way as I did not have a car and had to settle for whatever food...More
Aston was a decent place. The location was the best feature. The beach is right out the back door. The surf is too rough to swim but its great for walking and there are lots of fish. The toilet was backed up when we got...More
Just wanted to say we had a great time at our stay here from March 17-24 2012. We were lucky to get Lara as our front desk help she was absolutely amazing and helped us with everything we needed. We had room 306 above lobby...More
The location is pretty good but the hotel itself is not up to par. Our room, oceanfront third floor, smelled musty. The tile floors were sticky and never felt really clean although it may have been the humidity - hard to be sure but we...More

There are at least 3 places close by that rent snorkels and masks by the day or week. One is in the building right to the west side of the Hotel entry. Prices very reasonable - especially by the week. You can get bikes that way too and that's a great way to get around on the East side of the Island. You can rent Kayaks too. Cost is a few dollars a day depending on the type you rent. Go Snooba diving. There's a place on the South side where you use snorkel gear but have a tank follow you on the surface. (And a trained diver.) Doesn't require training and you can get down 15' and stay down. Highly recommend it if you like to dive but aren't trained in Scuba. Cost about $75 per hour per person.
