Perfect spot! 70s vibe with all the colors and decor. Pool and amenities were perfect! Yoga in the morning, complimentary valet and easy access to the pool. They had bikes and was just a short walk to the little shops ie. Italian restaurant, bbq, Thai food, abc mart and local shops. Came with breakfast coupons at lava lava. Close to the airport and perfect that it’s next to to Lava Lava Beach club. Had many great meals there and happy hour was on point. Rooms were comfy ours faced the ocean/pool and pillows were so good. Definitely loved having the opportunity to stay here we loved it!
Everyone was incredibly friendly. It felt like home and I often referred to it as such. They even kept our bags for us and let us enjoy all of the amenities after we checked out. Highly recommend and hope to stay there again soon.
Kauai Shores has a great location, nice beachfront, beautiful grounds, helpful staff, and a pretty good onsite bar & restaurant with live music every afternoon and evening. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is that we felt deceived by our room being sold as a "Garden View", when the view was really just the complex next door through a few trees.
Good size room with horrifically small bathroom and only one tiny sink. We were located close to the beach which was awesome. Restaurant/ bar located on the beach side of the hotel with live music was very good. Close to very many good restaurants and close to town and airport.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kauai Shores Hotel for 6 nights in April. My favorite thing was the beach - the view was beautiful, the water was warm, the waves were great, and it was never crowded. My husband and I were comfortable swimming with the level of waves (and found them super fun!), but it might not be safe for children or folks that are not strong swimmers. Other favorite highlights: the room was clean and nice, bed was comfortable, hotel grounds were lovely (well maintained with beautiful flowers), and it's very nice to have the option to eat at Lava Lava by the beach. The valet complimentary parking was a nice perk (especially since the parking spots are very small), and the staff (front desk, housekeeping, landscaping) were all extremely nice and friendly. Super minor things for room for improvement: I didn't see a bin for recycling in-room, so that would be nice addition. No composting at the hotel - it would be nice if they did this for sustainability. Also, I love when hotels by beaches offer room keys that are wristbands that you can wear while swimming, so it would be cool if they offered that eventually (again, super minor point!). Bottom line, our stay was great.…
