We very much enjoyed the resort! We had a week long visit the first week in March. The location is great and is close to some really nice shops and restaurants. We had a pool view King room that had an awesome view of A-Bay, so we were able to sit on the lanai and watch whales in the distance....

This is a beautiful hotel. The decor throughout the hotel is tasteful and reflects the surroundings- I really liked how the chairs in the room had a sea turtle pattern on them. The pool area is lovely and the hotel is right on a nice beach. It's a great place to go to soak up the sun and relax. However,...

I always stay at Marriott's whenever I go anywhere. So I'm sad to stay I was a little disappointed in this one. But it's hard to complain when you are in Hawaii right?! So we had a mountain view room on the 4th floor. You can definitely hear your neighbors, especially when they flush the toliet! Luckily our neighbors were...

Because my husband and I are mildly handicapped, we needed a hotel that had a room that stepped directly out onto the pool area. This one was great. They gave us a room about 40 feet from the spa and pool, and 30 yards from the lobby and restaurant. There were two major pools, one with a slide, and a...

Terribly soft beds (they were like cheap sponges) meant a very sore back in the mornings. Service at the pool and restaurants was just regular; it's not like the other Hawaiian resorts where there's the "aloha smile." (Service by the pool doesn't start until 11:00am even though the sun is up by 9:00 and folks have finished marking their territory...

First the best aspects of the Marriott Waikola Beach: - Beach Location: On A-Bay, the hotel has a great beach just steps away. The waters are calm and shallow, perfect for swimming, water sports, snorkeling, or just relaxing on the beach. - Location: There are two malls nearby (Kings & Queens), with a number of dining options, a Starbucks, and...

The Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort is a solid Marriott property located in a unique rainless climate zone of Hawaii. As a Platinum Elite using points, I arrived with limited expectations. However, on first arriving, I was warmly greeted by staff and offered a complimentary upgrade to an Ocean view room (which should be a given for elite, especially platinum elite...

Great snorkeling early in the morning expecially of you venture toward the right near the rocky portion, Food was good. They had 1/2 price on entrees twice a week. Breakfast buffet is pricey, but reaall y nice selection. We had a garden...
