This was the first of five locations we stayed during a trip to Hawaii and it was the perfect way to settle into our holiday. It is a resort, but pretty understated, if you want entertainment and attractions 24 hours a day it won't be for you. I didn't see any of the signs of age others have mentioned, the...

We spent a week at this hotel in March. The grounds are well kept, the pools were never too crowded (although they need to invest in more umbrellas for shade!), and the room was comfortable. We enjoyed going for walks...You can walk over to the Hilton Waikoloa and watch the dolphins, or just gaze at the Disney-like grounds of this...

Chose this hotel as it had direct beach access and the Hilton did not. Early check in got us a ground floor, garden view room. Might have liked to be up higher but it was easy to walk out the slider to the beach. Plenty of parking. Restaurant had deals every night, like 50% off entrees. Had a very good...

Beautiful grounds & pool. We had a partial ocean view and saw whales from our balcony. Did not eat there as it was pricey but purchased coffee and breakfast from coffee bar.Very nice staff there & everywhere on the property. Aloha and thank you for taking the time to post your comments. We take all feedback seriously and are always looking for ways to improve. We apologize for not meeting your restaurant expectations. Our restaurant prices are in line with similar properties in this area and we do offer some great weekly specials. We agree, sitting by the pool or...

I have been to four Marriott's in Hawaii. This one was ok but it needs updating. I am not use to seeing a Marriott resort in such dire need of new carpet in the halls along with wallpaper. Carpet stains and area's with tears is not what I expect from Marriott. Food was good and staff very nice. It is...

Aloha and thank you for taking the time share your experience. Your comments regarding the carpets have been noted and we agree that they are in need of replacing. The good news is that our owners recently gave us the approval and this project will be taking place this year. As additional upgrades and renovations are approved and funded, the...

The location of the hotel was great, walking distance to nice shops, markets and restaurants. No parking issues. The hotel itself was dated, nothing really impressive. Service was mostly decent, rooms were comfortable and clean. The pool has a nice ocean view and the atmosphere was quite nice. Probably more suited for adults. We did tried their weekly seafood buffet....

Rooms were an adequate size, clean, decent sized washroom. Bed was super comfy. We were in a standard room on the 6th floor and we had a spectacular view of the resort pool area, beach and ocean. Ate at the restaurant the first night and all our food was mediocre (4 people) and kind of expensive so we only ate...

Wonderful hotel with a good restaurant and lovely room. We had an Ocean View. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size--not cramped at all. The staff was friendly and it was an easy walk to the King's Market and a two minute drive to the Queen's Market for Starbucks.

We had a great time! We stayed for 6 nights in an oceanfront room. Spectacular view! We were on the third floor behind the cabana rooms. Check in was a breeze! We got the free drink vouchers and a run through of the hotel amenities. The bags came quickly. The room is a bit small but we weren't in there...
