Read many reviews that trashed Kings Land. In our experience these are all petty. It's not an all-inclusive, "town" is a 30 min drive and I loved it. It's a beautiful drive along the ocean. Kona has Walmart and Costco for your groceries. We loved that we could cook and hang in our room. We're home now, my wife and...

Beautiful weather! Beautiful facility! Amazing pool system! Very friendly staff. Excellent concierges! Definitely make use of them when you go, they can save you a lot of money and headaches! Take the volcano tour as soon as you can set it up! The information you gain about the climate, beaches, places to eat, spots to go see on your own,...

Our family of 8 had a truly wonderful vacation at HGVC Kingsland. From the water slides, golf, saunas, to fireside chats having a beer we experienced so much together at this beautiful resort carved out of the lava of Mauna Loa.

The rooms at this hotel are beautiful and perfectly maintained with spacious showers and lovely bathroom amenities. The only downside is that the property has extremely limited dining options--the only on-site restaurant closes at 7 p.m. and there is nothing else unless you take a shuttle to the other Hilton property.

We stayed here for 10 days - loved every moment. It had everything we needed for an amazing stay - kitchen, pool, games room, great location. My only suggestion would be more shaded areas around the pool for people to relax in the shade. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We have been traveling to the Big Island every year for 21 years and by far our favorite place to stay is Kings Land. Its great for couples and families. There was plenty of things for little kids to do and the pool and slides are fantastic. A couple times a week they had free shave ice for guests. There...

We were invited to stay here for a week on a deal where we promise to attend their timeshare presentation. Actually, we attended the timeshare presentation last year, told them no, and they invited us back the following year to attend the same presentation (for a measly $1600). The trial package we purchase for $1600 was appropriate for the season...

Thank you for your detailed review. In spite of all you mentioned, it's great to hear your stay was not “bad”, and I hope you enjoyed our beautiful island. I would definitely recommend inquiring with our willing and ready staff a little more, as many of the issues you mentioned could have been easily resolved, or is noted within the...

Our grandkids absolutely loved the large meandering pool, 4 slides, sand and water volleyball area, large outdoor chess board, kids activities, kiddies sand pool, etc. The adults loved all the above and the nice outdoor shaded bar, food choices, and happy hour from 4-7 daily. This is now our go to pool in the Hilton Grand Vacation lodgings in Waikoloa,...

This was our first time to Hawaii. The hotel was beautiful and had great helpful staff. We will be back! You definitely will need to rent a car because the hotel is not located near tourist sites like the volcanoes and downtown Kona. We had to drive from 2 hrs to 30 min to everything, but the drive is pretty...

We love the HGVC opportunities. We can't wait to book our next Trip! The suite had all the amenities we needed and the bed & bedding were superior to many other places we have stayed !! Unfortunately the Vog on Hawaii is a bit of a problem, and will continue to be for an unknown time, due to the volcano!
