Spotless, characterful accomodation close to all the sites of the Volcano park in a lovely picturesque setting. The Lodge had all the amenities you could need and was clean and well maintained. The instructions for finding the office and the Lodge were easy to follow.

This is a great location to be at if you're going to the national park, especially over two days. It's just a couple of minutes drive from the entrance, so you can go back and forth, have meals in Volcano, wash up, and then go back in to the park to see the glowing crater after dark. The rooms are...

We wanted to stay in the volcano area for easy access to the national park. When i went to book a hotel i found very limited options(reminded me of Alaska). Based on availability i booked the upstairs room at Lokahi Lodge. Pros are that it sits practically at the gateway to the park and is in a nice rainforest area....

We stayed in Volcano just one night in order to visit Volcano National Park and Hilo. Otherwise we are staying on the west side in Kona. It doesn't look like much from the outside and we were expecting something very modest especially for the $112 AARP rate that we paid. The rooms are gigantic and include a mini fridge, microwave,...

Excellent experience. Emails from hotel prior to check in gave easy to follow directions. Staff were pleasant and informative on check in. Lokahi lodge is a 5 minute drive from main hotel down a quiet rainforest lane. Room had lovely decor, beds comfortable, amazing bathroom! Beautiful decorative details. Veranda outside room where we enjoyed morning coffee and listened to rainforest...

This was our fourth trip to Volcano and the Park and we have stayed at various locations in town. Overall, the room size and amenities were as expected. Check in is at a separate location about a mile or two away, but not a hassle to manage. The grounds are well kept and pleasant. There is a common area when...

Just an excellent group. We first booked thru tripadvisor a shares bathroom for $70.00 at the Kileau Lodge. Got a quick upgrade and have an awesome queen bed w gorgeous big bathroom. Quiet. Pristine. Luxury for us. This is a quiet town close to the volcano with lots of yummy restaurants. Helpful people. A bit cooler weather than Kona side.

My wife and I spent two nights here in Feb. We were given directions after checking in at the off site office. Our room was very basic and out of the 60's. It was clean and comfortable and very close to the park entrance. It is a very rural area and the village about a mile away has a few...

Does what it says on the can. Our room occupied the whole of the top floor so loads of space and light. Good solid country accommodation, two massive beds, comfortable lounge area, great bathroom, adequate kitchen and loads of storage. No air-conditioning but the ceiling fan did its job and with the windows open at both ends stayed cool. Not...
