We were astonished to find ourselves in this beautiful Chalet after a rainy day in the National Park. We had a room with a view Directly on the koi pod. The interior was like the on of an african lodge/ an asian pagoda. We Loved this Night there and if we Visite Big Island again

It was made clear to us on check in that there was no breakfast included at this property. It is not a bed and breakfast, it is a Chateau and breakfast was not included.

We did not have a shared bathroom, but instead had a very large and beautiful tiled shower.

Aloha, the shared bathrooms are shared among all guests in the building. There is a bathroom available for use on each floor.

Aloha! Yes two of our properties (Chalet Kilauea and Lokahi Lodge) have their own bathrooms. We have a third property called Volcano Hale that features shared bathrooms. No, we do not have a pool and we are about 45 minutes from Hilo.
