We only stayed one night and did not have the opportunity to use the hot tub or grounds other than our room, but our room was adorable, clean clean clean, and comfortable. The fireplace in the dining area is stunning and historic. Great place to stay

We had 5 p.m. Reservations and arrived 15 minutes early. They made us feel welcome and took our drink order. Two had the lobster special consisting of two 8 oz. Tails with a veggie - outstanding! One had the German sausage plate and was more than he could eat. The sauerkraut was great! I had the ahi special, sauted in...

I was pleasantly surprised by this adorable and quaint Lodge. I stayed in room 2 which had a gas fireplace, coffee maker, queen bed, and separate bathroom with small tub/shower combination and a water cooler thus avoiding those small plastic bottles of water that hotels never give you enough of. I was part of an adventure tour group and we...

It was an excellent choice... the staff was very nice, the room was rustic and large, the location was excellent, and the whole stay was very pleasant. You are not even...

We stayed in the Hideaway Apartment which was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. Everything we needed was there and we could walk to the Lodge for dinner and breakfast. We only stayed one night and our son left his "blue blankie" behind. When we got to Waikiki we discovered the loss and the wonderful staff posted his blankie...

Spent last night at the Lodge and LOVED IT! Beautiful setting in the rainforest, and very close to Volcano Pk. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. You don't always find staff in all areas of this service so wonderful, but they truly were. The complimentary breakfast was wayyyy beyond what we expected! No bagels and fruit here, but a...

My wife and I stayed here for four nights to celebrate our birthdays (hers is one day before mine). We loved it here. We were familiar with the restaurant, one of the best on the Big Island of Hawaii, but this was our first stay at the lodge. Breakfast is included with lodging. The room was comfortable, spacious, and included...
