Love this comfy B&B. We've been coming here since they had wood burning fireplaces (they're now gas and have been for years). Last trip we stayed at the remodeled Volcano House in the national park - because we thought staying "on property" would be cool. We liked Kilauea Lodge better. I also want to mention the yummy hot breakfast that's...

My wife and I stayed one night at the Kilauea Lodge. We were on the second floor in room 7. The view out the window is of lush jungle. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, both meals were very good. in between our time in Kona and Hilo, Volcano was...

I absolutely love the Kilauea Lodge! My family and I have been coming here since I was young and I believe I have stayed in every unit with the exception of the Plantation House. All rooms are wonderful and unique in their own way. Restaurant is excellent, staff is gracious, and the additional amenity of the jacuzzi is always a...

My wife and I spent the one night there recently based on a recommendation by a friend. The room was pleasant enough - more 3* quality than anything. No TV which was no big deal as we arrived late. We had dinner at the Lodge too as we knew there would be limited options in the village. They claim to...

Hi Colin. Thank you for your rather backhanded comments…It's good….but. Pleasant …but What I really want to say is that we try. We all try. You got it wrong there. Lorna

This review is a bit outdated but it is heartfelt! We visited the Kilauea Lodge on Dec 27,2014 after lengthy wait for a rental car at the Hilo airport. We found out that the lodge quit serving food at 8:30 that night and we actually got there a bit after 8:30. We were told to "come on in" and that...

We stayed here for 2 nights during a visit to the Volcano National Park. It is a perfect place to stay - lovely individual rooms and excellent restaurant in beautiful gardens. There are no TV's in the rooms (no reception) and slight negative is that the rooms do not have fridges so there is no way to keep water cold...

The Kilauea Lodge is perfect place to stay while exploring Volcano National Park. The rooms are cozy and lovely and the food and service at the restaurant was fantastic! The breakfast was delicious and filling and the grounds were beautiful. We were able to walk to some stores and other restaurants nearby. Definitely a must stay area if you are...

We stayed here because the place we originally booked abruptly canceled our reservations. Although it was more than we wanted to spend, we're glad we stayed here. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is extremely friendly. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and it was very nice. We opened the french doors and drank wine on the private balcony...

Aloha! I am confused because your review doesn't sound like our place. Our housekeeping services are thorough and excellent. If they overlooked replacing coffee then our office or the host in the dining room has coffee, creamers, toothbrush, toothpaste, towels, beach towels, beach mats, coolers and so on. We bend over backward to provide guest services. I think you're talking...

This is really much more like a bed and breakfast with large cozy room with fireplace. Our honeymoon suite came with a balcony with table and chairs. It was on the second floor however. The breakfast options were extensive and well prepared. The office staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming. We opted to take a box lunch they offered on...
