My wife and I stayed three nights at the Haleakala Lodge at Volcan Village Lodge. The lodge was located in the most beautiful rain forest that one can imagine. We seemed to be totally removed from civilization but in fact only minutes from Volcanoes National Park and really good restaurants. Kelsea, the manager, was always ready to help us and...

We absolutely loved Volcano Village Lodge! The sound of rain put us to sleep most nights and the birds were chirping in the mornings. It was a very relaxing and comfortable place! Each morning we had fabulous breakfasts to help start our busy days of exploring the Big Island of Hawaii. The staff was excellent and gave us ideas on...

When we arrived at Volcano Village Lodge, I knew I had found my dream place! It is nestled in the rainforest with birds churping softly and beautiful lush flowers and plants everywhere. Our family stayed in the Haleakala and Mauna Kea rooms. Both our just over the top ourtrageously beautiful. Every detail of the rooms have a special and personal...

Hidden among luscious, tropical rainforest plants, the lodge offers a quiet retreat atmosphere with great attention to detail. The rooms are beautiful and unique. The extensive use of ceiling to floor windows helps create the feeling of being so close to nature, yet still protected from the elements. The gas fireplace was a wonderful touch and took the chill out...

I booked everything for our trip to the big island off of trip advisor and this was the biggest gem right here! I love this place! Kelsea and Christie were amazing, helpful, super friendly and patient! I asked a lot of questions about what to do, where to go and they helped with everything! We were here on our honeymoon...

There are only two places on earth we have ever felt totally at peace with the world. Here and the Skelligs in Ireland. Here you could be forgiven for thinking you were alone in the resort surrounded by lush trees and rooms that certainly have the 'wow' factor in spades. Kelsey is the perfect host and nothing is too much...

Volcano was a stop on our Hawaiian honeymoon, and no other place has made us feel like we were the only two people in the world. Our private cabin was absolutely gorgeous and our innkeeper Christie made us feel so welcome when we checked in. The location is perfect for visiting the Volcanoes National Park, but we made sure to...

We only got to stay 1 night in this fantastic place! The Innkeepers, Kelsea and Christie made us feel right at home and even had quiche waiting for us for breakfast. The room was the most beautiful place we believe we have ever stayed! You are enveloped by a rainforest (and it did rain). It was so private, lush, clean,...

We loved our 3 nights in Haleakala. We were running late upon arrival and did not get there until after check-in time, but called ahead and Kelsea was very helpful. She left us a note with a map to our room and keys. Our room was very well designed with windows all around looking out at the lush tropical forest...

My wife and I stayed in Hale Kilauea (the one with all the windows) for two nights in early March. Our first reaction on seeing the room was "Wow!" The lush tropical foliage of the rain forest made us feel like we were in a tree house, and provided all the privacy you would want. The room is a bit...
