Loved our room, the Haleakala. It really felt like I was living in the rain forest! Beautiful grounds and facility. But what I loved most was the friendly and professional staff. TOP NOTCH treatment. I could not have enjoyed my stay more!

I was really excited about our two nights at the Lodge and was not disappointed! We arrived late at night and the team made it very easy for us to grab our key and wander the boardwalk through the rain forest to our room. Our room was lovely--the bed was WONDERFUL and we loved the glassed windows all around the...

Mahalo nui loa for such a beautiful review. We are so appreciative of you sharing your thoughts with us and our future guests. Volcano Village Lodge is in the heart of the Hawaiian rainforest, and we've carefully constructed our guest rooms with minimal disruption to the environment. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the rainforest experience in the...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Volcano Village Lodge! It is just a mile or 2 to the Volcano National Park, but the environment of the rain forest is like a world away. We stayed in the Hale Kilauea cabin, which I think is one of the smaller cabin, but 3 of the cabin walls are all windows. Another...

Located five minutes from the Entrance to Volcanoes National Park, this Rainforest hideaway is an oasis. The innkeepers could not be more friendly and helpful. The place is so quiet and secluded. I had the best night's sleep of my entire trip in our lovely unit. Breakfast is tucked into your fridge and you can enjoy at your table or...

Great base for exploring volcano and the Eastern side of the island, and just a brilliant little room to whole up and escape from the world. Outdoor and indoor hot tub, private access, extensive DVD collection, super comfy beds & bathrobes, good coffee, a hot breakfast, awesome muffins, and a heater that just cranks.

We stayed here for two nights and loved it. The location is right outside the park, and it's not too bad a drive from the ocean lava entrance as well. The rooms are really beautiful, the setting is quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was awesome. The staff was great, always very friendly and helpful. There's also a lot of...

We stayed for four nights in the smallest unit, which by the end of four nights became a little too small for the two of us...but that could be because we do not travel light! It's a lovely property, where each unit is far from the others, so it's possible you won't see another guest the whole time you're there....

I feel compelled to write a review for this haven. I love being outdoors, in nature, but will not sleep in a tent after a very bad experience. This gem of a place allows the non-campers of us to be at one with nature, without all of the things that come with sleeping in a tent. This place has all...

We stayer here for 2nights. It is a very quiet place. Not crowded. The room is great, not to big, but very nice to see. The bed is comfortable. The shower is good. Every day you get breakfast, some quiche and fruit. We are not so into quiche in the morning, but it was oké. In the room you can...

Mahalo for writing a review of Volcano Village Lodge. We appreciate your tips and feedback for our future guests. Volcano Village Lodge is located at approximately 3500' elevation on the side of the Kilauea mountain. Our temps are naturally cooler than what you would feel at sea level. We like to think of it as our natural air conditioning! It's...

This is a great place to stay! It is pretty and peaceful...tucked away amid the trees. The room is very nice and comfortable...we particularly enjoyed the fireplace. It is also super convenient if you want to visit the volcano. We only wished we had stayed more than one night!
