We love to go to Volcano to escape for the weekend. We decided to stay at one of the local B&B's. The Volcano Forest Inn is right off the main road, but tucked away in the back, it's so quiet and peaceful here. The rooms are large and spacious. The hosts were friendly and welcoming with tips on what to...

If you are staying the night around Volcano National Park, this is "THE" place you need to stay. It is a small bed and breakfast that is amazing! Impeccably neat and clean. The couple who run this genuinely love what they do and it shows. They are very welcoming and make you instantly feel comfortable and at home. I will...

Comfort, ambiance, convenience are top of the list at the Volcano Forest Inn. After a day of hiking and exploring the Volcano National Park we looked forward to getting back to the Inn for some rest and relaxation. Our host, Drew was the best guide you will ever need. We saw the green sand beach, South Point,(the southern most point...

This B&B is just a mile outside of Volcanoes National Park. It's also very conveniently located to all the restaurants this quaint town has to offer. The rooms are gigantic with private bathrooms and comfy beds. Each have access to shared lanais. Hosts Drew and Nice are totally friendly and knowledgeable of the area. For breakfast, Drew makes fresh baked...

We're from the UK and have never been to Hawaii before. Looking on the internet, we were drawn to this wonderful hotel due to the great location for visiting the Volcanoes National Park. Drew and Nice were great hosts and the hotel was everything that you could want .... This hotel comes highly recommended, and we WILL return !!!!

This was our first trip to Hawaii. We stayed in Maui but did an overnight trip to the big island. We stayed at the Volcano Forest Inn and it was an excellent choice. The innkeepers were fantastic hosts and very informative. They were able to direct us to the best destinations in our short trip and helped us make this...

After staying in a tacky condo in Kona, the Volcano Forest Inn was an oasis--beautiful, spacious rooms, convenient to Volcanoes National Park, warm yet unobtrusive innkeepers--we were blown away. Almond cake and tea in the afternoon, nice breakfast in the AM. We wished we could have stayed longer.

My only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer! We arrived later than expected at this Inn as we had spent the entire day exploring the Kohala Coast, Waimea, Waipio Valley, etc. When we pulled into the property we were a little wary as we had to drive along a narrow driveway through the forest. When we actually...

If you are on the Big Island and plan to go to Hawaiin Volcanoes National Park then I highly recommend a couple nights at this wonderful B&B. It is just minutes from the park entrance, has beautiful, spacious rooms and the hosts, Drew and Nice are helpful, friendly and warm - without the hovering that you sometimes find at B&Bs....

What a great place to stay and relax, so close to the Volcano National Park too. The Volcano Forest Inn was a welcome find with my partner being sick with flu. We couldn't have asked for a better place for her to recover, very peaceful. Nice and Drew were amazing hosts giving us all the space we needed as well...
